Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

ldrifta, I know it might not seem like much but the little things really do matter. Im glad holo launcher is back (the last version I was on had laucher pro). Glad to see holo locker on there too.
Btw I manually installed Seeder apk and it really seems to make a difference. Maybe you should include that as well. But include the apk. because it seems there are problems with the flashable zip that not all the files are installed.

the flashable zip from OP is not meant for this device so it never mounted properly during install lol

but im currently testing the seeder thing on my esteem and i mean it seems good in some things.. but ever since i installed it whenever im playing music, then try to do stuff in background the music skips between each task change.. so im starting to UN-like it.. lol think ill leave it out if anyone wants it they can get it :D

and yeah launcher pro is still really good but it never gets updated.. so yeah.. lol

o and i didn't include holo locker LOL thats just an automated link created by the launcher, if you click it you just get directed to the market untill you actually DL it lol
 
Oh. Lol ok. Well, I haven't had any issues like that. Maybe more people should test this thing out.
 
This is really off topic but I've had my connect for almost a year (11 months) And all I ever had was a screen protector and by now as you can imagine the screen protector is ALL messed up. Scratches everywhere. Today I decided to buy a new one and WOW I have fallen in love with my phone again!
Just a recommendation for others lol. Buy a new screen protector!
 
It really makes a difference i just replaced my screen protector too after almost a year.The connect is
a great phone the only that would make me buy another phone for almost the same price i paid for this connect (with same specs) is 4:3 screen display thats it because i like 4'' screens or bigger.

the esteem has guerilla glass :D owned for over a year now with no protector and not a single scratch on it, swear to god!! lol it's the 1 thing i loooove about this phone lol

lol yeah.. like i said im testing on my esteem, very different devices!! so maybe it's works out better for the connect, i just dont want to add it and find out i need to remove it later because someone discovered an issue due to 'it' :/

The connect has guerilla glass too, and I took my screen protector off after a month of having it ( had it for about 5 or 6months now) and no scratches at all to see. I have also dropped this thing (on accident of course) on the face and the sides/corners, and it still looks like brand new. What a tough phone!!!!
 
Yup a tough phone indeed. Once it slipped out of my hand and in an attempt to catch it I just slammed it harder to the ground. All other drops before this I was confident because of the guerilla glass but I REALLY slammed this thing hard and was scared to pick it up. But I amazed to not even see a scratch. Very impressive.

had my connect since last march still using the same protector i bought a couple last year now just need to remember where i put them
 
I have hairline cracks on the Gorilla Glass on my Connect. Basiclly the phone has minimal bezel to absorb the shock of me butterfingering my phone. No screen protector would of protected my phone from that. What does help is the gel cases that I use.

As for the hairline cracks, they are very hard to see. You basically have to clean the screen and shine light at it and really scrutinize and search for them to see them.

Even with this, I still will vouch for Gorrilla Glass in portable devices like this. I have shown people that taking knifes and keys to devices with this does not scratch it. (Not with my Connect, with my Cowon S9 and Cowon J3. I am certain even with the hairline cracks, it wont scratch if I take a knife to it)

Lol, normaly with most devices you wouldn't want to do this. But it is fine with devices Gorilla Glass. Also it is not like I do it daily, I have done it a few times to show how good Gorilla Glass is; and why they wouldn't need a screen protector for it.
 
Just a question, finally jumped onto the #2 bandwagon, got sick of some of the lags that Broken Out had in it, but as much as I like the stock ROM, it seems to me that with the Ondemand governer, the battery life isn't as great...if I flash a different kernel will it break anything on this ROM, could've sworn I saw a post about that somewhere.

Nope I used to run #2 with BP Kernel and worked fine. But of course now I run it alone :)
 
BP kernel bootlooped me on 1.6, even a dirty install didn't fix it..just restored my back up of Broken Out lol cause I'm too lazy to resetup everything..not to mention didn't really see any battery savings either :(
 
Doesn't sound like that should happen. Maybe it didn't install correctly? Try again because Im positive I had BP kernal on.

EDIT: Actually I'm on 1.6 and ill install BP kernel right now. Let you know if I get sent into a bootloop. I have speed kernel just incase.
