Root [ROM]{MS840} Number_Two v1.8 ~ ZVA

I'm currently running #2 with the brokenout kernel (blitzkrieg) and I have had no problems with it other than the ones I had b4 thanks to the stock batt.

This is really off topic but I've had my connect for almost a year (11 months) And all I ever had was a screen protector and by now as you can imagine the screen protector is ALL messed up. Scratches everywhere. Today I decided to buy a new one and WOW I have fallen in love with my phone again!
Just a recommendation for others lol. Buy a new screen protector!

Use Ghost Armor it's the best stuff I have ever used!

well you need to flash an OC'able kernel in order to OC.. and what droid sound? i did no such thing...

the transparency is a few images in the framework, need to edit them manually

Hi, can you tell a noob where to get the kernels that are safe for my phone? How do I edit the framework files? Just find the. Png file for the status bar pulldown background and edit it in photoshop? Right now it's just to transparent. BTW, the droid sound was a setting I had.... :)

The kernels u can flash r in this fourm (not this exact thread) if u do a little exploring u will find them they r the plague kernel and blitzkrieg kernel (speed kernel comes with #2) and as for the transparent notification bar and pulldown is a bit more involved than just photshoping it. I believe theres an app for the pc called 7zip that u can use to pull the framework. res file and edit it.

Ok, reinstalled #2, when I wiped and installed the ROM I installed Black Plague at the same time before first boot, boot up no problem...I didn't init.boot.sh file fix, rebooted again, running extremely stable no problems..also if you're running Set CPU, by far the best governer for this ROM is Interactive...going on 25 since unplugging my phone, sending a few texts, making a call, and STILL at 100% battery...oh yea...*high five*

Ok small issue is coming up...while the phone is plugged into the computer through USB cable, its actually LOSING charge instead of charging the phone or staying at full charge....any ideas everyone?

Can someone please give me a viable reason to have pdroid? I don't care if companies can read my text. Any other stuff to be affraid of?

Oh I see, I don't really care either

Quick question btw
If, sometime, we do get a working ICS, would you be work on a NEW rom based off that? Just asking, curious

i flashed black plague v1.2 from the cwm and now i cant do any updated from google or anywhere my phone continues to reboot if i try to install anything. does anybody know whats wrong with my lg connect

Well I bricked my phone as you can see here in this thread (http://androidforums.com/connect-4g...phone-will-not-boot-logo-just-sits-there.html) and after about 6 hours of reading on this fourm I finally got it fixed as you can see in the link I posted. So now I just rooted my phone and I am about to put ROM Manager back on, get hooked up with CWM and then I am going to use this ROM but instead of version 1.5 I am going to go with 1.6....

Wish me luck and BTW didn't I read that the DEV was working on 1.7?

How come when I had 1.5 installed this 1.6 version never showed up as an update in ROM Manager? Just curious.... :D
