Root [ROM][MS870] hybrid MIUI V5 ROM

I know you were joking but just make sure the joke is actually funny that's all. I flashed Katana on it & now it gets 3g.

When I flashed Icy spirit it did the same thing. Oh also a Tmobile person who was trying to sell me his LG model when I was looking for the Optimus G Pro (why the heck he thought I'd want that crap when im coming in asking for the G pro is beyond me) decided to tell me that eventually MetroPCS customers will have to switch their phones. Saying that MetroPCS will be dropping their towers so GSM phones will be needed. Makes some sense to me especially now they have the bring your own phone thing going on. A kind of gradual transition, possibly, going on.

I doubt the Metro side of things would do that. I'm saying they worked to get their network the way it is now. Any thoughts?

I'm working on an update for this rom. It's gonna have Samurai rom as base with MIUI stuff on top. So far looking pretty sick lol. The goal is to be done by some time this weekend, though I watch football all Sunday lol. ;)

  • New Boot Animation & Shutdown Animation

Hey GT I was wondering if you could give me permission to post a threat about how to switchup pngs using ninja morph . I was wondering if it's OK for people to modify the pngs , most of us are on your ROM's . I understand if it's a problem , just wondering . Thanks
 
Here's an updated "Apollo+ v1.1"

Instructions:
Just flash the zip in recovery and it will remove the version that comes with the rom and install the new one...

It looks awesome , wish I had your skills bro . You make shit that's rusted sparkle bro , making everyones days so much better . This phone really wouldn't mean anything if it wasn't for you making all this wonderful stuff . Thanks a lot bro , just can't say it enough .
 
Just gonna spit this out just cause I did this just now.I chose the launcher settings and checked for update I did an update after the update I started to get miui has stopped working I couldn't do anything after that.[This here is a little explanation for those who ain't to familiar and new to the spirit(So i held down the power button phone shut down then held vol down and power until I got to factory reset screen then let go.then confirmed the factory reset option with power button proceeded to CWM RECOVERY.Then all I did was reinstall the Miui rom.Didn't wipe or anything else but reflashed ROM rebooted and got the update 2.13.something.)

The launcher has to be updated normally through the play store like any other app. It doesn't update through settings menu cuz that's for official miui roms.

I'll explain that in the OP for others that may come across this.
