This is a "hybrid aosp" meaning it's a stock based rom with some aosp stuff, but it's not an actual fully aosp rom. Theme chooser will never work on stock based roms.

this Rom is awesome, I did installed just yesterday... and is working really smooth no issues at all, so far..

only one thing that I will like to see....

is there any way, an apk or mod to replace the system background in white color like the stock Rom? there is a few area that with the black system UI background that dont look quite well.

You can't reboot using ROM manager you have to do manually like if your going to reset the device

Yeah... Dev-host sucks!!! Files seem to disappear from there over time even with a paid account.

When I have some time I'll upload the themes to Android File Host.

I thought lg spirit could not be rebooted into recovery manually.

But that only takes me to the factory hard reset option asking me if i want to permantly erase user data & reset settings. I'm trying to get into recovery mode for the LG spirit (MS870) :/

Yeah but if you have recovery installed then when you confirm the reset it doesn't reset your device, it puts you in recovery mode.

Here's some instructions I gave someone else which helped them get the rom installed...

After you follow these instructions to get the proper recovery installed, then follow the directions that come with the ROM you wish to install.

Katana is an older ROM which I replaced with Samurai rom. I will not be doing updates to katana, it will stay as is. I'll only maintain it's thread.

-- Samurai
-- MIUI V5

I wish that were true because when i did that it just reset my phone instead of taking me to a recovery mode. Maybe you are right! I probably did not instal the recovery corectly.

Started it a couple days ago. Should be a while before I'm done. Been pretty busy working on goodies and work. lol

Since some people asked for a white rom, that's what I'm working on. It will have google's holo light theme.

Also just finished porting most of CM10.1/JB 4.2 notification pull down. Will add to samurai, miui, and new rom. This link will give you the general idea of what it look like...

Do you think the mixzing player app pull down notification will be full sized like it is on cm10, or will it stay small because it's still a ics rom?

Only difference is that the status bar disappears when you pull down the notification like CM10/JB. Also will have the same general look and layout.

SUCCESS I tried both katana & Samurai. I ended up keeping Katana! Thanks everyone. Especially the developer(s).
