Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM9 build 20130120 [BETA]

One word G60............Awesome! I've got.the 10-25 version installed on my Triumph. So far it's great:thrasher::thrasher::thrasher::thrasher:G60 has.rocked the Triumph and now the encore will be the camera:D

I'm having the same issue with wifi hotspot, using the 2012-10-25 rom, everything else runs great, super snappy, I turned on wifi hotspot it locks up on tuning on, wifi works fine otherwise here is the logcat, or at least so I hope

Yes i'm having issues with Google Now connecting to Google


Edit: Works fine by connecting to wi-fi. Must be the 3G
 
@ Mad man and the MT Dev team, i have been doing alot of reading on the qualcom processors, trying to get some of my geek friends to give up some info. From what im hearing, you gotta switch the base chip to be able to upgrade hardware to a duel or even quadcore. Now that would make this 1 damn fast phone, one of my hardcore M Droid friends said it should be possible:]:} android isnt like windows where you can hyperthread a bazillion windows. Why would we need all that processing power? Unless your a DEV. KEY LIME PIE EHH? First ive heard of it thats why I love Our little MT DEV section here!! More Peeps you got using it, and knowing what the next big thing is def helps. Hardware is just as important as Operating system software!!
If we ask for it SOMEONE WILL MAKE IT!! IDONT WANT A DROID RAZR HD MAX shoved down my
throat!!!

Oh Yeah 10/25/2012 is the best best yet, installed lightning fast . been usuing it since noon, No issues thus far.
 
Isn't Google now supposed to talk to you? Like if you ask the weather shouldn't it talk to you? Is there a way to turn this on?

And also the lockscreen doesn't work. All you have to do is pull down r the notification window and it unlocks the phone.

I think it was in GB that the OS really became multi-threaded aware. I have seen code for it.


And I walked away before I finished my thought. Now I'm tired.
 
So I came across an extra MT, I had been hesitant to flash cm9 on my daily driver because of the camera. Now that have an extra I just flashed me sum cm9 goodness! All I can say is WOW! So fluid & so smooth! Great job MTDEV Team!! Totally crossing fingers fr that day the camera update comes along!! Im on MTDEV CM7 on my connected MT. How do I get thisort of smoothness out of it?

Sadly you wont. Chairshot has done absolute miracles with CM7 however it's held back by the code and what google released at the time of gingerbread. ICS/CM9 has added tons of new API's and feature sets in the code that has pushed it where it's at. Also the major game changer is Qualcomm released prewritten libraries for EGL/Video drivers that are specifically written and designed for Qualcomm adreno200/205 video (the same video chip our Triumph has). So not only is our CM9 using these newly added drivers for our video/firmware they are also specifically written for ICS/CM9. If Qualcomm would release the same type of driver sets for Gingerbread it's very possible we could see this type of performance but I wouldn't expect it from Qualcomm.
 
@ Daseinredux. wimaxx its in:
Settings/ systen/ notification drawer/
widget button bout wimaxx toggle
Check, turn power widget on
about half way down
When you select wimaxx toggle
4g will appear in the status bar pull down
Notification drawer.
When its depressed it does turn
Bright white
N the underscore blue indicator
Turns mid blue
This cm9 is pretty damn fast
Even if 4g doesn't really work.
 
In 20121025 the proximity detector doesn't turn the screen on when I take the phone away from my ear during a call. I have to hit the power button to bring the screen back so that I can end a call.

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

I did. I even maxed out literally every equalizer band on either DSP manager or poweramp (not at the same time) and neither was as loud as it should be. ill keep trying to find ways to boost it but for right now i'm stuck with my nano i guess

every once in a while on sharp rom i have a sound issue i call my voice mail wait 15 seconds and then hang up it usually works try that out

It does that sometimes even in cm7!
 
One problem I have is the kernel allows over locking to like 2.2 MHz but when I set mine to 1.9 it sets but defaults back to 1.6 as soon as screen is locked...any way to fix this...or does kernel require changes to fix?

What are you using to change the clock speed? I'm looking at the kernel speed table now, it should allow changes up to 2.0GHz, and I don't know of any limiters. It should allow you to blow up your phone if you want. Do you think you could grab a logcat during the attempt to change?
