Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM9 build 20130120 [BETA]

What are you using to change the clock speed? I'm looking at the kernel speed table now, it should allow changes up to 2.0GHz, and I don't know of any limiters. It should allow you to blow up your phone if you want. Do you think you could grab a logcat during the attempt to change?

I have never felt the need to over clock my phone. Am I missing a wonderful phone experience?

Depends on what you do, and how many/what kind of apps you run. My phone gets pretty sluggish without it.

I am using setcpu...I was having the same problem with the lower clock speed on bsydz sharp rom...he fixed it with the test 8 kernel...its not a problem with setting clock speed but they won't stick...if I set at 1.9 it works until screen is locked, then it drops Max down to 1.6...min stays where I set it

What governor oare you using? It has the power to reset the clock speeds. And if you use one governor while the screen is on and another while the screen is off, that might be the problem.

Had to switch back to cm7 because of Hurricane sandy coming tomorrow :( i only switched cause cm9 has terrible battery life, you are doing an amazing job though g60, as soon as its over, ill be switching right back :)

Okay...that was my fault...setcpu was reverting to old profiles it found on SD from other rom use...cleared data and reset defaults it seems to be good now

Had a fresh battery this am, it's 3pm now and still at 48%....hardly terrible on cm9, haven't been running too many apps today I suppose... did dl advanced task killer a couple days back...

I am getting amazing battery life with cm9...but I have added build.prop, init.d tweaks as well as some underclocking and undervolting. I am also getting the best antutu benchmark results I have seen from the triumph at just under 5000...this rom is top knotch even without cam and hdmi...

I love this rom and cant wait for it to be fully functioning but i started having problems with 3g not working and wifi many times said the router (15 feet away) wasn't in range. I did overclock to 1.4Ghz even though i don't think it needed it but great rom!!

Flashed cm9 yesterday. Everything working good except my phone won't connect to my router. It keeps saying authentication problem. Ipad and other electronics are connecting fine on router though. Phone connected on my in-laws router too. Wondering if anyone knew how to resolve this.

To get above the factory set 1ghz you need to be rooted and have a kernel that supports overclocking as well as an app to over clock...or if you are on a cyanogenmod rom it has built-in overclocking

Yea, I'm having WiFi problems too...started while using this rom. Went back to a MIUI port and the problem persists. Not sure if something is just really messed up or if its my router, but seeing as others are having the same issue, I thought I'd chime in.

Great job on this Rom btw...I'm personally a MIUI fan and cannot wait till the v4 update comes out :-)

Also, over on XDA there is a rom in Alpha where someone claims they ported beats audio over...what are the odds we can get that here??

Liking the new build! I've noticed when I try to switch to Swype in Language and Input, it fc's. Also, will the carrier name and swiping the status bar to change the brightness be back?

NEW FEATURES
10/28/2012
∙ Updated init.triumph.rc
∙ Added back in rmt_storage
∙ Added back in bluetoohd
∙ Removed Apollo - Can be downloaded here

I have added in rmt_storage which is associated with the dialer. It seems to have not only help speed up the ROM more, but also add stabilization. I would like the thank Chairshot for finding this fix. Also I removed Apollo due to Bluetooth issues and rolled back to the stock music app. If anyone wants Apollo the link is above. Still working on the camera but still no dice yet. Also the kernel 2.6.35.7 is still on the back burner. It does boot but bluetooth and wifi do not work.

Wow g60, you are doing an amazing job bro. I'm about to switch back to your cm7.2 in a few, but anyway I thought you had the cam starting to hicup tho. Is there anyway I could help?

Strange thing happened. I've been using an older build, and when I go to bed with a fully charged battery, I wake up with the battery at 70%-75%. Just flashed 10-25 last night, went to bed, and woke up with the battery at 4%! Anyone else see this?

I had charging problems with my Mot Triumph. Turned out the charging port was on it's way out. It would charge for a few mins then stop. I took it to a guy at our local mall who fixed it for $60. It's been perfect ever since.

Yeah but my phone wasn't on the charger. I keep the radio on during the night, and it only goes down to 70%-75%. Never seen it go to almost dead until last night.

g60 has been working on the functionality of the ROM (camera mostly) and when he gets that done, one of us can go back to the feature side of things. I think he just wants to make sure the ROM isn't changed while he tests things out.
