Root [ROM] n_i_x's MIUI - "Complete UI Overhaul"

One 'problem' so far - is when you're in the stock launcher and press menu - you can get in to the phone settings - when you're using Launcher Pro and press menu you can only get in to Launcher Pro's preferences not the system settings

The menu is scrollable. Scroll down to "Settings"

If you ever see a little down arrow in the center of a menu, it means its scrollable. :)
 
Ahhhh I didn't see that arrow

seems to be finicky about changing wallpapers too - but the apps I've tried so far still seem to work

Use the BLUE galleries, and note that there is a lockscreen wallpaper and a homescreen wallpaper. :)

That doesn't seem to be working either - hehe I can't seem to change wallpapers except to live ones in either regular launcher or launcher pro

let me try rebooting

EDIT: a reboot fixed the wallpaper problems - but I had to re-login to google (told me my password was wrong) AND I get Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly (but system continues to work)


EDIT2: if I go in to Settings -> Sound I get process com.android.settings FC - think I might have restored something in Titanium I shouldn't have - going to try reloading again later.

Yeah something is definitely messed up there since I haven't gotten any FCs (except when I closed Real Blackjack once). Hopefully just restoring apps + data (not system data or settings) will give some better results.

I read somewhere that the hboot and 2.15.00.09.01 radio was optional.....so I installed over hboot 0.77 and 2.15.00.07.28

could this be the reason camcorder f/c on me?

90% works just fine.......just BT will not turn on

Yes, radio is required, hboot is optional, as I put in the OP. ;)
 
ok - works now - but it seems to take forever to charge the battery :(

wish I could figure out how to get the screen to stay on when it's plugged in - I use this as my alarm clock
 
a minor thing - it doesn't sync with Facebook - so none of my contacts have photos :(

EDIT: It won't even let me add my FB account in Accounts and Settings
 
The new version 1.1 seems to have some stability issues still - I'd stick with this version for now....
 
Anyone know how to change the default amount of screens? The page indicator being off center on boot is driving me nuts:D
