Root [ROM] Nov-13 MeanROM ICS v6.3 | 2.13.651.1 | Mods | Batt saver | OC 1.7 Ghz

I'm honestly not sure if this is possible but could you get the buttons to activate wifi, bt, etc at the top of notifications instead of having the quick settings tab at the bottom of the notifications and then selecting stuff from there?

4.3

Changes:
Enabled Beats modes: urBeats, Beats Solo, Beats Pro, Beats Studio
Added Flashlight to quick settings
Added zeppelinrox multitasking tweaks (hidden app limit and "stale task" killing fix)
Improved auto brightness
Auto brightness moonlight mode: dimmer in total darkness (see post 3 to disable)
Updated OTA Updater (1.0.3)

I know it can be done. I think its an option on Viper4G. However, they don't share their tweaks app so other devs cant port it.

Does anyone know if Is there any way to get the sports cards to work in Google now? When you go to set it up you can turn the card on but you can't choose your favorite team.

Asking it a few questions about your team of choice may do the trick.

You have to remember google now learns from you. So its got to have some prior experience to go off of

That's so cool! I had no idea it learned from what I asked. I asked the eagles score and the card popped up. Then when I went into settings sure enough there it was in options. So neat. Thanks as always! :)

Of all the Meanrom versions, this may be my new favorite. With the multi tweaks, it's satisfying not to see the loading screen for settings and whatnot.

Looks like they were added to the latest update.

New in 4.4 (details in changelog in post 2):
  • Updated zeppelinrox multitasking tweaks
  • Smoother auto brightness w/moonlight mode
  • Stronger haptic feedback
  • Changed screen-on-with-new-SMS to OFF by default
  • Updated apps: Google Maps and Facebook
  • New flashable ZIPs for all configurable option

I'm LOVING the battery life on 4.4
Best battery life I've seen on this phone.

The battery life on this version is insane, and still it's as snappy as any other. I am noticing one minor bug, the larger widgets are off center (ex the calendar). Beside that once he gets rid of the three dot menu icon, and brings back 360 rosie landscape, with button remapping, I couldn't see anything else I would want.

Are you using the 4x5 rosie?

I noticed the off centering too but only when I'm using that rosie. And yes the battery life is really ridiculous. I don't bring my charger with me anymore. It's that good. Lol

i would be curious to hear how you like it.

i read with interest the comments folk post about it over at xda, kind of tips you off what sort of problems you might run in to and lets you know what he is changing with the nightlies.

i haven't messed with the cpu speed in the different kernels. I haven't had any need to. battery life is good, responsiveness is great. I guess i don't really multi task enough to know what problems people have been having, but sounds like results have been positive on that front too.

I usually do the tweak for 'BATTERY' but here last time, I forgot to change it and left it on 'PERFORMANCE' and the battery life was still great for me.

If i could just get a good signal in my building at work, I would be set. That isn't sprint or the phones fault though, because right outside I have great signal!

Got some heavy use in today (I'm off work today! :D:D:D). Wow am I impressed. You can see the screen has been on for a majority of the day granted I've been on wifi buy still. 9 hours and still going strong at 35%.

Needless to say I'll be staying with Meanrom for a while!

I wish I could have Meanrom on my Toshiba thrive! The battery is a monster on that thing(and it's replaceable) so it lasts a while but this ROM is just sweet.

Here's hoping the battery life of 4.5 shows the same results!

I'm interested in the optional OC to 1.7ghz. I think the stock speed is 1ghz? I could be wrong. Anyways.. Has anyone tried over clocking? What are the pro's and cons? I don't want to damage my device but I'm guessing 1.7ghz couldn't hurt?
