I hope to get an update out by Friday on the new base but the timing couldn't have been worse. My "other" job monopolized my day other than coming here to check in a few times. Discussions with third party code providers (for my Windows stuff), then quarterly tax returns due to the accountant, then admin meetings all afternoon. Even had to hand deliver a paycheck to one of our employees today (don't ask). So not a good day, which is why I'm so grateful to the front end guys who take these OTA's, put them together, deodex them, and test them out. By the time I'm actually ready to work on this (hopefully tomorrow morning), they've done a great job by providing a solid foundation. That's what I love about Android. We all do what we do best and the power is in the shared knowledge and resources. That's also why whenever someone asks for some of the work I've done like the Mail.apk sync while roaming stuff, the 12am - 7am data disconnect fix, wrong time on MMS when roaming, etc. my answer is: don't ask. Just take it and credit me. That's the way open source should be and what gives Android so much power out of the other (iCough) stuff out there.
Oh. And a big thanks to the mods for keeping the threads clean!
