Anything that DOESN'T come pre installed on your computer. Well not "anything" per say but if it came pre installed then it's likely no where near as good as a lot of anti virus programs you can download. I can list a few if you like.
 
Back on topic.

L, I went and dug around the build.prop seeing if anything in there was causing the SD issues but I didn't see anything that was out of the norm.

Have you figured out what was causing the SD card issues?

Not familiar with 7zip... but I can basically rip the lock screen from this theme and place it over mine? Also was wanting to change boot image and sound. Can I do this the same way?

cool, I keep every file i download for my phone and my backups on a external drive. Messing these phones you never know when you are going to have something happen.:rolleyes:

If you mean boot animation then it's just a zip file. Just copy and paste.

The LG boot image could "possibly" be change but everyone is scared to do it because it will more than likely brick your phone. The reasons I cant recall but there's plenty of threads on it.

7zip allows you to edit files, drag and drop, without extracting the contents. Plus it works the best with apk files.

Just locate all of the lock screen images and extract them and put them in whatever theme you are using.

I keep everything I've ever downloaded and i have an Android partition on my TB HD. Nice to have it than be stuck without it and trying to get it from someone else.

you can with the Boot Animation. you just have to name the new Boot Animation as bootanimation.zip

yeah as do i...except for 2.2 because i skipped straight from 2.1 to 2.3....just couldnt find which flashdrive i had 2.1 on.
 
Well, I been updating everytime driftizzle put out an update. & I been reading up on all the problems everyone's been having. I did notice some lagging with 2.3, & had to wipe cache & dalvik several times a day. So, instead of continuing to go through all that over & over, I went ahead & did a factory reset & reflashed 2.3. I think it was fuzzy who said that he does a complete wipe before any update. Well, it works even better now. Yeah, I had to redownload some apps....big deal. 2.3 is awesome now.

Oh, & for those who have the Dolphin browser? I recommend Dolphin beta. Very fast & smooth.

No actually I just update. I only do a complete wipe if I switch ROMs. It's prolly just best to stick with 2.2 until L gets the kinks worked out. ;)

thank you for that!!! like i said even if its same rom it is strongly reccomended to wipe data and start fresh, only true way to enjoy the effects of the new update

+1 thats why I always flash LD-EZ Wipe Full first then wipe system(OCD) then flash the rom. Never have a problem with the new updates at all.
 
Call me crazy but I do full wipes even on updates and never had issues that is why we have TB
How is the plagued thingy coming along ldrifta
