well that too, but i mean more specifically backing up the mms apk from #2 1.7 and restoring it on #2 2.4/5, not built the same so it may cause issues.. specially when it already comes with the correct mms installed, then you replace it with an older one the system probly dont like it..

no ive never backed up system apks, just app store apks. so i dont know.. i think im doing everything right..

Yes it works. I think you mean when wifi tethering? The phone creates a ad-hoc wireless access point so your laptop can connect to it and share the internet. It works, I use it all the time.

yeah i was actually going to suggest doing a format of internal sd, not just wipe whats on it but actually format it in the device options... specially if you had a previous rom that came with google+.. leaves a nasty un-deletable file on internal sd..

-re-applied tweaks from 2.2 to hopefully help with sd readahead speed
-using updated LG Keyboard (from connect 4g)
-minor ui tweaks (power menu icons)
-Added SNS & Smart share (now social+ options work in sync menu)
-put themed phone & dialer back in

I see you added in SNS.apk but I think something is not working with it because there should still be facebook for LG option. There also should be a widget with it. Maybe the linked activities are hosed? TIA for any help!

Ok, sometimes when I want to find an open Wi-Fi network the only thing open is Ad-Hoc. Normally the Esteem can't connect to this type of network. There are only a few phones that can, and anything running Cyanogen I believe. I guess since you didn't know what it was, that means no lol. Anyways I was asking if you incorporated this into your ROM. I have tested it on 2.0, 2.1, and 2.4 and it works perfectly. Here's where I found it in case you want to put it into your next build.

cool thanks for the link up consider it done ;), i have the theme almost finished but im not gonna push a beta5, im just gonna throw the patch on op when finished, ill also include this in the patch :D

I am also getting fc issues when trying to pair anything with bluetooth other than that very fine work.thank you for all your hard wor:Dk.
