Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

just a question does this kernel have that patch for 2 way call recording? if not that would be my only request if possible.

Call Recorder (paid) works fine for me with this Kernel.
In-call works great - no need to have speaker on.
 
yea but i use one that requires the kernel to have the patch installed into the kernel might be the same one u use let me grab the name of the dev to see if its the same one u use. ok yea works i just installed it the one made by skvalex right? yea works good ok thanks everything is jiffy :D

Yep - that's the one. My only complaint with it is that stays running in the background all the time, unless I force it to stop after a call... works great - but it's a real battery hog.
 
Speaking of battery.... is anyone else's battery kicking @§§ since the new release?

i didn't add anything like that to the kernel so my guess would be no.. but it is something im willing to add if i knew how :D (still trying to learn kernel source edits..) also i want to add some OC to the speed kernel, just need some help figuring out how to do all these things lol, i already got so much help from pg i dont want to keep asking him to hold my hand through everything i do lol, so unless out the kindness of his heart he decides to show me the way lol i will attempt this one on my own :D but i without a doubt will need some help on this thing LOL it's on the list bro!!

LOL no no im not doing anything of taht nature :D honestly this rom is just a compilation of all the great work from our guys here on esteem & other forums, with some PG & MT knowledge/love added and some tweaks and themeing on my end.. but it's still called #2 for many reasons.. no matter what this rom has, it's still runner up to anything these guys can put out, i truley appreciate the compliment thank you, but the true thanks goes out to the big guys, again none of this would be possible if we didn't have pg over here keeping tabs on us :p im just the dj who mixed it all together into 1 great tune :D
 
I have confirmed 2way calling works with plaque. Works flawlessly. Ice been using it. No need to put the phone call in speaker mode.

The original stock kernel wouldn't work with CallRecorder (at least on my phone), but it worked after I flashed MT's Blitzkrieg kernel. I am now using the kernel that came with #2 v2.5, and CallRecorder still works just fine!
Maybe it's just my individual phone? :confused:
 
Yea bro, just download the zip and in winrar or your preferred tar app and navigate to system apps, and drag and drop to your desktop. Then do the usual.
