Have never seen that before here
Hmmm
Guys, I have a major problem right now. If I drive 40 miles away from home I loose the network completely, this has never happened before, and the network comes back when I return home from work.
v2.5.3 only had minor problems for me (lost *228, and minor stuff)
v2.5.4 seems to be faster, and *228 is fixed, but the battery drains way too quickly (even with an extended battery), and I loose network going away from home. I tried updating PRL successfully, but didn't help.
Not complaining here, but has anyone lost network like this? (Florida, West Palm Beach City)
Will flash previous versions and report.
Check the op there's links to 2 "databases" full of versions
not many changes or additions since 2.5.1, mainly fixes for theme etc.. so im thinking just the system need to settle itself in, manually wiping cache etc sometimes helps.. trust me im constantly re-flashing the rom with the same minor changes daily and it runs good for meHey Martin714,
I have the same problem, I was getting 20+ hrs on 2.5.1 and decided to update since I was getting far behind(at least felt like it). Then I noticed my battery drain 3 times as fast. I went back to 2.5.1 but something happened and it seems laggier after.
So I reflashed the speed kernel and it seems to be back to normal. Ill have to test it for a day or so to really find out. I'm not sure what the changes were but there's definitely something draining battery. I'll go back to this newer rom once that gets sorted out since I liked it a lot, felt real smooth and snappy. Also you have to do the bluetooth fix if you want to use it.
ima do wat u say bro ima wait till it settles in=] ur the man sonnot many changes or additions since 2.5.1, mainly fixes for theme etc.. so im thinking just the system need to settle itself in, manually wiping cache etc sometimes helps.. trust me im constantly re-flashing the rom with the same minor changes daily and it runs good for me

well stock speed seems to have the best battery results.. and its what i useldrifta,
Thanks for the quick reply. I liked all the updates and how it ran really smooth, the only thing was the battery life. I tend to stick with what makes my battery last rather than speed, just my preference, I wish I could have both..lol but I know there's always a trade off. The way you had it running on 2.5.1 was perfect for me. I have got over 26hrs on a single charge with stock battery which is f****g amazing and something I always brag about to my friends when I see their phones die in 3-4hrs.
?s of the speed kernel, which do you recommend for longest battery life?
Thanks for all your hard work, it is much appreciated.
Anyone still have 2.5.1 wanting to go back to longer life and that version i don't have anymore only 1 i don't have
Could someone share v2.5.3 with its BT fix please? (not v2.5 BETA 3, that's really confusing lol)
I couldn't find it in the archives here.
