LOL, don't think there's much more to do to this bad boy, driftizzle.....unless you start doing more theming. Don't use bt, lol so I don't care if it works....have it frozen anyway lol. The only complaint, which really isnt a complaint, is the small txt screen.

Guys, just flashed the latest 2.5.3, but for some reason *228 doesn't work anymore. When I use it, the keys press on by themselves, so the auto-operator always cuts off before receiving a command and the whole thing crashes. (was trying to see if there were any PRL updates)

Also, I read about the build.prop thing, but why does mine still say zvc instead of zvd?
(Did a complete format in Recovery wiping data, calvik, and everything instructed)

Can sum1 confirm diz

we are on 2.5.4 now, and it sounds liek that guy had a bad download. I never had that issue

Nope. Redownloaded, and re-flashed it more than once, and also checked checksums, and still had the same problem with 2.5.3

I just flashed 2.5.4 and the *228 problem is gone, and the phone seems to be quite faster.

However, the about info still shows ZVC, but I don't care about it, just saying:

(I even went to the stock ZVB rom and upgraded manually to ZVD successfully just to check, and it did show ZVD there)

you need to update to zvd for it to say zvd lol, the rom and provided kernel are both built from zvd, the baseband version is like other files in the device not found in system folder, only way to change that is to get the zvd update ;)

Ahh that's right!
Anyone out east in the path of that "perfect storm" be safe... good luck.... and make sure u got that battery charged!

You're right.. My phone is at 4% I should probably stop using it...

Lights been flickering off and on so I know it's only a matter of time. I'm in NY.

its back in 2.5.4, but if you flash the BT fixer ya llose it due to the settings.apk being the issue :(
dam suxs bout settings bro and hey drifta ive noticed my battery life has not been doing so well with the new update bro did u move any battery settings?

Hey Martin714,

I have the same problem, I was getting 20+ hrs on 2.5.1 and decided to update since I was getting far behind(at least felt like it). Then I noticed my battery drain 3 times as fast. I went back to 2.5.1 but something happened and it seems laggier after.
So I reflashed the speed kernel and it seems to be back to normal. Ill have to test it for a day or so to really find out. I'm not sure what the changes were but there's definitely something draining battery. I'll go back to this newer rom once that gets sorted out since I liked it a lot, felt real smooth and snappy. Also you have to do the bluetooth fix if you want to use it.

Guys, I have a major problem right now. If I drive 40 miles away from home I loose the network completely, this has never happened before, and the network comes back when I return home from work.

v2.5.3 only had minor problems for me (lost *228, and minor stuff)

v2.5.4 seems to be faster, and *228 is fixed, but the battery drains way too quickly (even with an extended battery), and I loose network going away from home. I tried updating PRL successfully, but didn't help.

Not complaining here, but has anyone lost network like this? (Florida, West Palm Beach City)

Will flash previous versions and report.
