Maybe if it isn't included in future updates anymore you can just keep a backup in titanium backup and restore it when you flash a new update
 
App manager is normally the first thing i delete. doesent settings menu do same thing. :)

that then alarmdroid. Who needs a program to run all day long, when you only need it on from bed time to wakeup time.

alarm droid has never once been found in my running apps list lol, must be using it wrong LOLOL.. but yeah app manager and that stupid lg battery widget are actually pretty crappy apps.. RAM HOGS and basically useless... why the hell do i need a widget of my battery that tells me exactly what my statusbar battery tells me lol, and like dover said, system settings does what app manager does plus more... if you want app manager than you can find it in add-ons thread from link in my signature ;)

the bennies are things were done that a lazy person would not normally do for themselves.. lol just removed some things.. finalized theme yet again and fixed up the init.d folder, updater-script and build.prop ;)
 
I will say this rom even keeps go launcher snappy and most know they just keep adding to it now that it uses accelerometer to sense movement for their moving theme like dx home this rom is still snappy

I can assure you this problem is no fluke because I'm dealing with it every single day. Sorry for nothing you guys so much. Maybe I'll try another rom. :/
 
I must've gotten a bad download because 2.6 lags and is extremely slow. Worst I've experienced on this phone.
Will give it another shot.

By fluke... basically were saying it seems to be just you and/or your phone.

Trying another rom would be a great idea! May help pinpoint problem.

Just wanna throw an example of a fluke at ya.... i put together a rom for the esteem (with the help of my esteemed couleges). I love it, its damn sweet But I'm running rom #2 on my phone. :)

Well... i love my rom... but it turns out that my phone doesent like my rom. Spent 3 weeks trying to figure it out, and it makes no sense. My status bar would keep dissapearing out of nowhere.... but everyone that i asked who was running the rom.... had never had this happen.

Find a rom and kernel that play nice with your phone. Then theme it from there. If no other roms fix your problem... then something else is terribly wrong :)

Hey big d, I switch back & forth between ur ROM & #2. My baby likes both of them. Both are super fast on mine. All the others, I have all kinds of problems. Big D & Driftizzle are the shizzznizzz

Then youll love the theme I'm cookin for #2. Gotta a little more work to do on it, and wanna see what drifta thinks of it and see if he wants to add anything. :)

I'm sure I will lol. Love the theme on your ROM. Also like the ICS theme for this one too lol.
