Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

But I have a few questions about 2.5.4.

1) I changed from LP to GO Launcher and now I can not locate the LED flashlight. Is there a way to access it still?

2) I am having problems viewing the tiny battery icon so I would like to know if I use UOT Kitchen to make a battery icon change, will it affect anything else in your rom?

3) You said you forgot to change the heap from 48 to 96. The only problem I have is occasionally it seems to freeze at the lock screen, until the screen blanks, then trying again works with no problem. It did not do this in v1.2. I have not changed this from 48 and I am wondering if I should change to 96.

4) The pull down notification bar for me is black text on transparent background. It is very hard to read but the original post shows white text. Do I have a problem with my install?

1: it should still be in settings menu unless you flashed the BT fix file :/

2: yea you can change it with UOT and everything should be fine :D

3: uhhhmmmm im not sure yet.. try it out see if it helps.. if not than change it back :D

4: black text is good, that will be in the next release ;)

yes I did flash the BT fix (not sure why since I rarely use it). And UOT worked great, thanks!

I do think the black txt in the drop down is a little difficult to read but no biggie

yeah.. sadly i had to change the text to black.. unless i choose a perfectly centered grey background so black and white text are both read-able.. i just need to brighten the opacity of the background so you can read it better lol... im just testing things out and seeing what works best and what the people want ;)
 
btw, isn't anyone having problem with WIFI? i can't say for sure that its becuase of the rom but i am getting wifi errors everything i try to turn it on.
 
hello androidforums. Ive been using the esteem for like 8 months (like a rookie) and I gotta say at first I liked it, but with the time my esteem started acting up; it would turn off by itself all the times, freezes, slow downs, and the worst of all...I would have a full charged phone at 9.30, go to work and turn everything in my device off, (gps, running apps, lowest brightness, 4g....) and barely txting here and there and with music playing,. my device would be in the reds( 10-15% ) at 2:00 ! that's 4hours 30 min and that in a good day ! I had to keep it on the charger all the time! I was ready to get rid of this and grab me a new generation phone....till I found this forums! I'm amazed at this community, and even more amazed at op for this Rom. Thanks for all the easy guides! I was able to install this amazing Rom and it gave life to my device!! with 11 amazing hours of battery life without charging it once throughout the whole night, and I had everything turned on too ! Really I had to register in the forums just to give BIG THANK YOU OP! thank you for saving me 300~$ ! now I'm keeping my esteem and keep checking this forum every chance I get!

oh one more thing, I cant download/install instagram, it says its not compatible with the device but I was using it before.. and is flash player available for the esteem?

First off welcome to AF and Instagram is compatible check your screen dpi it might be changed the esteem use 240 and here's a link to flash player

hmm i actually just started using instagram and it's workin fine.. try uninstalling it then re-install from market.. should be running just fine ;)

edit;: I somehow was able to install it now (high five):-). id still like to know the command I should edit in ROM ToolBox to change the screen dpi tho, thank you!!! ;-)

If you installed it u should be ok but it looks like this

hi to all big bosses on this forum i just got a question if someone can helpme
how do i put the ics icons the ones that are on the dock phone contacts messages an internet without flashing a theme i recently install ld_ick hibryd theme from ldrifta but i chose the one with no launcher because i running the launcher pro the reason is because on this i can scroll the dock and i do'nt know if i can do the same with the one on the theme thank's to evereybody

I'm pretty dang sure the launcher that comes wit the theme has dock scroll. Install it. It shouldn't overwrite your launcher pro. Keep whichever you like better and delete the other

yeah... it will remove LP lol thats why i made 2... :D

but i totally forgot about the icons lol need to fix those along with the battery thing..

I should not have assumed... especially cuz I set up my theme install to do the same shiznit
