Hey L just reporting in to let you know I'm getting randon force closing on apps at first it was a couple now its more and more apps everyday and apps sonetime take awhile to loadbatery is great tho
Did you factory reset when you upgraded? The same thing was happening to me a few updates back and that fixed everything.

By fluke... basically were saying it seems to be just you and/or your phone.
Trying another rom would be a great idea! May help pinpoint problem.
Just wanna throw an example of a fluke at ya.... i put together a rom for the esteem (with the help of my esteemed couleges). I love it, its damn sweet But I'm running rom #2 on my phone.

Well... i love my rom... but it turns out that my phone doesent like my rom. Spent 3 weeks trying to figure it out, and it makes no sense. My status bar would keep dissapearing out of nowhere.... but everyone that i asked who was running the rom.... had never had this happen.
Find a rom and kernel that play nice with your phone. Then theme it from there. If no other roms fix your problem... then something else is terribly wrong

So I finally did a factory restore and the problem fixed itself, nothing else would work. And I also tried your ROM. its pretty good however when i tried to record it would say cannot exact frame or something like that and i could not update youtube, a force close sign came up every 10 secs or so . Other than that its Good, I like it.

Lol apps were randomly foreclosing and taking a little longer to load than normal
I tried fixing permission cleaned cach n delvik thu cwm and nothing

Mines did that before it soft bricked i am just getting back on line. Mines just booted to the lg screen and rebooted nonstop .. but i got it back from lpnst and qpst are my friends ...

lol you guys are nuts.. hey D, i did some thinking and im gonna use the alarm clock ur using
it is much much smaller in size and thats kinda the story of my life so im gonna stick with it 
, i almost considered using nemus launcher too but first thing that turned me off was the constant 17-20+% ram it was using :/then i took a look at the new adw and uhh... wtf? why do these people change things they shouldn't change lol.. it's over bloated like every other damn launcher out there now so im still sticking with LP lol, the fact that fede does not update his launcher is awesome (sometimes) lol.. but im still not sure :/ so damn frustrating!!!!! to much pressure lol
almost considering losing sonygenmod and just using the experia launcher on #2 lol i think would be perfect solution, anyone agree??

Can't comment on the sonygenmod. Used experia for a while. It was ok. I could tell that you had to make some changes you were talkin about. It just wasn't as snappy & smooth for me. Right now, I'm using 2.6 with your ICS theme & holo launcher. Pretty cool stuff. I've used Dover's 1.2 just as it is. Like his theme set up. DLing 1.3 now to see what he's got cookin. yeah im almost 99% sure experia launcher will be in next update, with few other changes & updates thanks to dover
im doing some final testing atm.. still trying to decide on vm heapsize.. 48 is good for some cases and bad for others, and vice versa with 96m.. so it'll have to be user choice i guess... lol

Wow, there has been a lot of improvements since I had installed #2 v1.2. Very nice ldrifta, thanks so much!!
But I have a few questions about 2.5.4.
1) I changed from LP to GO Launcher and now I can not locate the LED flashlight. Is there a way to access it still?
2) I am having problems viewing the tiny battery icon so I would like to know if I use UOT Kitchen to make a battery icon change, will it affect anything else in your rom?
3) You said you forgot to change the heap from 48 to 96. The only problem I have is occasionally it seems to freeze at the lock screen, until the screen blanks, then trying again works with no problem. It did not do this in v1.2. I have not changed this from 48 and I am wondering if I should change to 96.
4) The pull down notification bar for me is black text on transparent background. It is very hard to read but the original post shows white text. Do I have a problem with my install?
