Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I installed NTE the first time and my phone was really slow and laggy; did the whole wipe thing and restored all my apps. I did the data, cache and dalvik wipe a few times again and re-installed it. I restored all my apps except Pimp my ROM, Autokiller or similar apps and the phone is great, battery is great, barely any issues.

Figured apps like those may cause issues with the awesome work L has done.
 
yea I use NTE update, and so far running smooth and no lagging, I was getting constant lagging when the phone came out sleep and random FC or reboot. I had to tweek some the brob and kernel before now I don't have to. let's see how it runs for next few hour till final release. thank you for all your work!! in any way can you include the holo locker? <-- pretty neat lockscreen

lol nah you can just get it from market man.. it wont be set as default and most people wont use it so not neccessary to add it in.. im just trying a few more ststusbar mods before releasing this..

main issue right now is adding the menu shortcut to statusbar and moving the date down to carrier header :D but no luck as of yet.. i got the settings button to appear, but nothing would happen due to bad smali edits lol

will this effect the center clock mod? also, since youre on the status bar..anyway to switch the GPS icon (circle with the cross) to something smaller maybe thinner? or to nothing at all lol?

yeah i can take a look lol, o and great news!!! i got the settings button to work on statusbar!!! :D now i need to move the date and ill be good to go :D

I have no doubt you will get done so far the rom is running fabulous much much better than 2.6.1...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
This one (FTE) is working really good, you'll put out the final and I will download it. But to be honest, it will be a long debate and I'll need a good reason to load it.

is this a good enough reason?

i got the settings button to work... now im just trying to place the date where the 'metropcs' logo is :D... but it's not as easy lol
 
Looking awesome since it doing this to the notifications it brings up an old question I forgot to ask is it only ics/jellybean thing to be able to slide the settings icons I.meant to look into it but forgot about it just wondering if the coding could b used on gingerbread

what do you mean slide it?
 
The 5 icons that are the settings icons ringer, WiFi, etc. in the status bar where u put the settings on ics there r more the than 5 cause u can slide side to side to show more I think there is 7 or eight
 
I have a problem that I wanted to share. When I add contacts, it repeats the name after I save it. Is it just me?

your probly adding it to the "my contacts" section, then your google is auto-syncing them so now you have them twice... thats the 1 thing i hate about the zvd update was the added contacts syncing with default contacts... just go to sync accounts and uncheck the my contacts one

oooo haha ok, nah i haven't done anything like that but i am looking around still lol
 
Sup L, i had pull some png's from a AOKP JB theme if you want to incorporate some of them, i can send them your way. ;)
