Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Running 2.7 and loving it. I made the switch to holo launcher too and its not bad at all. I used to use Go launcher because of how customizable it was but I didnt like the constant news updates. I was able to keep the icon packs I use though! So I have the holo launcher looking like it did with Go launcher.

I checked the cam and its running fine. Tested mms, BT, and all the other stuff I usually use. No problems at all. Thanks L! :smokingsomb:

i do it all the time while riding the subway. airplane mode on and bluetooth on... and i did not have to use bluetooth fix for either of the #2's

well, for ME anytime i put BT on, then switch airplane mode on, it turns BT and wifi and everything off...
 
I seen in play store an app that lets u use WiFi in airplane mode just don't rremember the name of it but I never tried it either I mean in a sense ap mode doesn't kill the radio its coding is set to flip all goggles to off when switched on so an app just has to bypass a toggle for a radio
 
Something weird happened to me today with the last 2.6 varient. I woke up and my phone was in that startupscreen and it was not charging. I had to pull the battery out and it wouldn't reboot. I finally got it to reboot at 1%. I've never seen this happen before..

Looks good D0VeR no one has themes made for the newer #2 keep up the great work :thumbup:

Did you wipe all when you installed the roms? How exactly did you get bt to work with out flashing the fix?

I'm not sure what everyone's talking about i've always been able to switch to airplane mode then you turn on wi-fi or bluetooth but only after you have turned on airplane mode i've always done this maybe its just my phone idk.but if it help's im using #2 version right before the one L just released.

Its not just you from what I've read some phones have the ability to do this so they can connect to an airplanes WiFi and still b in airplane mode

yeah i feel like a fool haha i legit just tried and and sure enough it does work... lol

I used to use an equalizer app, but they loose volume when the low frequencies are turned up (which is much needed by my coloud headphones). No biggie to just throw it in the system files tho :)
 
I'm seeing a pattern develop here and I wonder if any one else can confirm this.
Since v2.5, I think I've installed and reinstalled this ROM 5-6 times, with and without speed kernel, with and without any theme tweaks, with and without my personal build.prop tweaks
Now, I'm not one to upgrade just for the sake of an upgrade unless there is a major improvement or an addition that I gotta have.
I Factory Data Reset, wipe Dalvik and I do this 2-3 times before flashing any ROM.
I have flashed this ROM using 3 different recoveries, the latest is TeamWin.

After about a week or two, every operation on my phone begins to slow down until eventually, it becomes almost useless.
The latest example of this was with v2.7, although it did take a bit longer to bog down this time, maybe about 3 weeks.

Any suggestions or questions for me??

Are you running any free (advertisement supported) apps that may be downloading garbage in the background and killing your resources?
