Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I Factory Data Reset, wipe Dalvik and I do this 2-3 times before flashing any ROM.
I have flashed this ROM using 3 different recoveries, the latest is TeamWin.

After about a week or two, every operation on my phone begins to slow down until eventually, it becomes almost useless.
The latest example of this was with v2.7, although it did take a bit longer to bog down this time, maybe about 3 weeks.

Any suggestions or questions for me??

well honestly, i removed a LOT of the old build.prop and init script tweaks.. i just do the occasional cache & dalvik wipe and reeboot here and there keeps my device running good :D

left it up to "the people" if they/you want to 'add' tweaks of your own prefference

this is good, because i never really needed any tweaks..i usually just edited them out
i had to remove holo because on any rom ive used that launcher would always lag and fc on me
but i do recommend using regina laincher pro, which is free on the market..slick fast and really compliments this rom

That's the same thing I do. Never had a problem with any #2 version......
 
Ldrifta why didn't u include the wifi thering app in the newest version nd y when I installed that app it keeps foreclosing on me.

While I do have a few free apps, they can't call home to show me any ads thanks to AdAway.
I have 11, apps running in the background most of the time.
Holo, Lookout, Screebl, Palamary Weather, K-9 Mail, HD Widgets, CPU Master Pro, Business Calendar, Ebay, SwiftKey 3 and Llama (A Locale app)

I can't put my finger on it but I know there's an issue somewhere that causes this. I have lots of internal space, only background data sync and a class 10 32GB sdcard.

I have recently begun to run Seeder, which has made things noticeably snappier. I highly recommend the entropy seeder, it works!

I think the next time this occurs, I'll stop down and do some deep analysis but it is so freaking frustrating when it happens. I eventually just throw my hands up, wipe and then start anew.

Try wiping your internal card, then reinstall the rom. This has worked for me on many occasions. Make a backup first!

Use autostarts; noobs will try to tell you that it doesn't work, but see for yourself.
 
ldrifta please heeelp i flash the stock locscreen on my lg because is got the option of the music control but i dont like the metro pcs name on is it possible to change that ?
to my name or the #2 name if its possible tank u sorry for all this asking and favors lol

There is a thread for that. You need to simply edit 3 lines in ERI.txt

I put my phone on air plane mode and I still get updates from facebook and other apps. Which drains my battery. Any one else having this issue?
 
Dover tanks for ur answer i all ready try that tread that u telling but i could not find the metro pcs line even when i got the stock lock screen still said #2 rom besides i think the stock lockscreen makes my phone laggy u think is any way to put the music controls on aosp lock screen? Ok tanks boss

Replace ... with text you desire

Must be same text in all three spots

Save

Copy Eri.XML to. Root/data folder

Restart phone

If you choose not to edit the XML. Instead of seeing metropcs. You should see. ...

I have this software on my phone and it's working perfectly! But out of nowhere yesterday my phone just stopped making or receiving any phone calls nor can I text and I tried to take it to the store but they said because I installed this on my phone they couldn't fix it :[ would anyone know what to do by any chance? I would GREATLY appreciate the help!!! thanks.
