Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

You said u was in com 3. What are the com that are listed did you check to see which one u are on now to check ...go to devices on your pc and see which com u are on and how many drivers u installed if u not sure reinstall all drivers again
 
I was but then u said It was suggested to be in com4-8 so I switched the usb slot I was in. I checked the port and it said com6 now. There is the LG united mobile driver.... the LGPNST STORE VERSION, LAB VERSION, COMPONENTS & GENERAL (GENERIC SOMETHING) DRIVERS. That totals 5 drivers. I restart after installing every driver. UAC is on never notify and firewall is off..defender is off....i removed all anti-virus protection before all of this so there is nothing blocking incoming connection or blocking installation. I run the last folder, merge, then register. Checked com again and it said come6. Then I unzip test mode fix. Dropdown to com6 & connect. This is maddd frustrating yo. There are only two options in the dropdown com5 & com6 & im in com6. Really appreciate all the help this far Brainz.
 
Which windows are u using cause my uac is always off when i use the pnst try turning off its frustrations is because u feeling that you did major damage .just take a deep breath get a six pack drink one if u have to calm down and watch you get it .
 
Try both of them 5 or 6 its not a problem i felt the same way had to do this shit 12 times already think we should post how many times you use the test or lpnst
 
I'm on windows 7...Acer notebook..3 usb slots and all that other stuff. I'll just keep doing it over and over. been a week without a phone and I refuse to go to metro to hear they cant help me again. Corporate stores don't show u what they do...they go in the back and come back out with a working phone.
 
Did you try com 5 with the uac off it will ask to restart the pc say yes when it come back on wait 8 minutes and go to work

what you should do.. is brick it perminantly then go into metro, tell them you were getting a system update, then it rebooted and never turned back on.. you might have to pay like 30-40 $$ but you'll get a new one ;)

where are you getting this stock rom file from and how are you trying to 'flash' it? any pure stock file we have for esteem is just a CWM or RZR recovery backup, unless your reffering to ld-lg which is a stock based rom.. but none the less we need more info :D

im guessing your trying to flash a stock backup which needs to be 'flashed' as a backup-restore, so you want to place it in proper sd directory(unzipped) then flash as 'restore backup' in CWM menu options :D

i will be glad to provide more info if needed, jest send a pm or re-post here on the thread :)

ok whats the name of the folder you put in sd/clockworkmod/backup directory? and whats inside it?

there should only be the img files etc in it, so if there another folder inside of your backup folder than thats your issue..

Can you tell me where thr back up & restore menu is ?? & can you guideme threw the step by step zvd in clockword recovery

my backup doesnt have anything in there

well then wth...? put it in there dude lol unzip the file you downloaded, and place the unzipped folder into sdcard/clockworkmod/backup directory, then in your recovery menu go to backup/restore menu, choose restore, then select the stock_zvd folder... let it do it's thing and boom!!

are you on zvb, zvc or zvd??

lol zvd , but last time i downloaded it , it says md5 mismatch , i re downloaded the zvd stock
