Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I noticed something when I watched Fuzzy's how to video...and in his LG Electronics>LGNPST folder he has the "VS910.dll" file & the "VS910_CmdInfo" file and both are application extensions. But I followed the same steps and in my folder, that VS910.dll file is not there...it's ONLY ON MY DESKTOP (because we have to copy it there.) Also in my folder, my VS910_CmdInfo file is blank...and it says XML DOCUMENT instead of APPLICATION EXTENSION. That is the only thing thats different. someone please give me some insight on how this could be.
 
ryan2droid....are you on windows and if so under folder options is hide protected operating system option unchecked? show all files and hide nothing....check yes to confirm
 
whats peeps im from transform ultra land ventured over here to root niece phone today with help from GameTheory he recommended this rom and boy was he right been tinkering with it for a bit tonight very smooth and fast and just plain pretty so nice job to Ldrifta on a rom well done
 
I was wondering if anybody knows if I'll be able to sync my ps3 controller with this ROM... or if someone would be kind enough to download the compability app and see if its compatible lol thanks in advance..... (sixaxis controller)
 
any ideas to why my phone suddenly stopped loading certain images( wont load photobucket photos that were posted on forum) when before it had no problems? I havent changed anything, it happened on its own

I downloaded that test app and our phone is not compatible with the ps3 controller, it has to do with the drivers. There are some custom controllers that are made for android phones you could buy. I got the Wiimote app but haven't bought a wii controller yet to try it out. I wana use it for an SNES emulator.

Just a follow up to the post regarding the eventual slag (slow lag), as I'm going to term it, that my phone eventually experiences over time with this ROM.

This happened within the past couple of days and I had to start from scratch.
Wanted to get anyones opinion about what I think might be the cause.

I use only a few functions in there but one that seems to be the FUBAR culprit is the SD Boost.
I have a new (3-4 Months old) SanDisk, Class10, 32GB card and it seems that if I apply a higher value than 1024kb that's when I start seeing longer Internal and External Memory prep times after boot up and the eventually the slag that render the phone almost useless.
This go around the slag took longer to manifest itself, about 50 days.

yeah that was actually an issue in a previous release, tried using a higher value and got major "slag" as you call it lol, that is why i set it to 1024, the default was something lame like 128 or something.. which means the device reads files in smaller incriments.. scans files 128kb's at a time vs the 1 mb at a time, 4 md's is too high for this device ;)
 
So two weeks ago my phone stopped getting signal, I can't call or text but I still get 4g. I tried updating the prl and manually inputting my metro info with LGNPST but it doesn't stick or something. I called metro but they couldn't fix it. Will going back to stock rom and trying again work. Need help!!

The ROM shouldn't be the problem. How do you know that you got it out of test mode:confused:
The min and PRL info is all correct:confused:
 
Yes it sounds like test mode but he won't answer us if he put the prl file to the phone when he was in lgpnst . He maybe and thought he was done and it maybe the vs920 dll .
