Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Wiped and flashed then just did a flash over 1.9.1
Same result:thumbdown::confused:

I use to be able to run 1.9 all day on GSE, on #2 with blitz kernel I reboot after a while oh and the settings dont seem to stick 100% of the time :(

hey that happend to me with a earlier version of #2... i was like WT:confused:

i believe i reflashed (re-wiping again) and it worked... i dont know how it happend...i did things as usual...

weird...

A FRESH INSTALL SHOULD HAVE YOU BACK UP ;)

Ya i agree some of the settings dont seem to stick but its not that bad, i still like the ability to play with my CPU ;) ...

btw out of curiosity what you run at when u were getting the reboots?
 
wooooo!!!! :D ok guys here's the deal.. 1.9.2 is kinda a big system change, went back to using some of mt'stweaks just because i know he is smart and got these tweaks basically perfected for 'our' device. plus some of the things i added in over time started to conflict with other tweaks and some of them just weren't even doing anything for us lol i seen things for like touchwiz and crap so i pulled it all out, kept the good ones and re-added the good-er ones we had from before sooo.... 1.9.2 "should" be a lot more stable, no random weird things should happen anymore lol and it will be better prepared for OC'ing for those power junkies out there lol

i did update the changelog so you can check that for specifics but basically the rom's tweaks should all be 'better fit' for this actual device, ya dig?

and on a side note: this goes out to you especially gbiggie!!

the isn't "THE" answer to the issue but i noticed a huge difference, you know how when your screen is off but for some reason the device stays awake for like an extra 2 hours.. in the new rom i also added more screen time-out options (thanks VsuperuserV) so try using 7 or 10 and let your screen shut itself off instead of pressing power button to shut it off, wait 10-20-30 minutes then go check battery stats and you'll notice the device stayed sleeping the whooole time screen was off :D BATTERY SAVER!!!! hahaha

as for the gvn sticking issue i cant help there man.. way out of my league lol and as far as i know the fix put out for "ZVD" was a no-go so nobody has a fix for it untill the gods of esteem dev return for another visit haha
 
anyone else data seem to slow down with the new update? also seems to have a black screen for a few seconds before the bootscreen, seems alittle laggy too. maybe my phone just doesn't like something. Battery seemed to drain faster also..

I've been running 1.9.2 since L's released it late last night... plus i OC'd it...
no issues really...seems really smooth (btw i did the speed tweaks using rom toolbox) ... runs good even 7-1000mhz and actually my battery life is good...(compared to the batt hog i was using lol )which was PG's rom which i also liked, minus the part of not being able to part w/ my charger....lol...

But im really liking this #2 ROM...Good job on the update...!!! :)

what kernel did you use for oc? i tried blitz and it just kept crashing. I used plague "that's the one i usually use" and seemed better.

Damn they arent kidding when they say all devices are different, even the same model...

well i tried the plague extreme kernel with one of Ldriftas 1.8 versions and had no success... So i got #2 1.9 going as it comes...updated to 1.9.2 and im using the blitz 2.1 kernel...

when u tried the blitz, when was it crashing? when OC high? or normal use
 
Just installed 1.9.2... Something just feels right. No lag on dialer. Smooth, like butter. Tomorrow will tell. Update then.

i boot loop bad with Plague-Extreme_2.2_signed, but it's all good, and yeah every phone is the same, but different at the same time. lol

I started with the Plague kernel, but everything was real slow. Switched to Blitzkrieg & running real smooth now.:D
