IMO I believe OMFGB is a bit snappier and smoother then CM7. You can customize CM7 more, also the video recorder is still broken on OMFGB. The one thing that is keeping me on CM7 is the keyboard corrections are light years ahead of OMFGB. what i dont get about this is omgb v6 the keyboard corrections worked wonders!

I know, the only thing that was really wrong with the rom was the wifi disconnecting on awake and the camcorder. I haven't tried OMGB7 yet but I heard the keyboard correction has the same problem. Go figure:p
 
and another reason why i dont see my self switching i mean its a great rom it dosent have the support of prob thousands of uses and a whole build team dedicated to its just one person ... maybe in due time but by that time GB will out on the market for all to use
 
I just tried out OMFGB 1.0.1 and its ok imo... my wifi wouldnt connect at all and i was sitting right next to my router other than that it a cool rom but not one ill be running anymore...so im back to CM 7 and will stay with good ole CM or untill Fusion Rom beta 14 drops and will check it out...

Did it show the router in the list, but say it was out of range?

Thats what mine was doing on CM7
 
Can i get some help real quick, there is two issues im having after flashing over to omfgb and thats whats the account settings to sync? and also how do i get marketplace on this? lol thanks very much sorry for the stupid questions
 
I downloaded the newest rom on here, and i installed it with rom manager, that i believe used clockwork. no i dont have any apps but the few basic ones, all i really want now is the marketpalce so i can get the like wireless tether and stuff like that
 
when installing gingerbread roms they do not include google apps, like market, gmail, goggles, etc

so you have to download a second zip called GAPPS or something

i dont know where it is for this rom, but for another rom (maybe they are compatible) check here:

Yeah i think youur safe. Just don't go crazy with data usage. They might have an issue if you rack up 10 gb in a month lol!

Just be careful b/c they can limit your bandwidth if they want. I have an unlimited data plan on my VZW USB modem and if I go above 5 GB a month, they limit me the NEXT month at 200 - 300 kb/s. Its horrible :(. I haven't gone over in about a year, but I assume they still have the same policy they used last year.
