Root [ROM]Party Time JB 3.0.X

I'm not exactly sure why it's being put out there as..."this rom"from freezing....
The freezing problem existed before SB created it. The problem is not in the rom; it started with the release of the JB update, and the fact that this phone seems to be destined to not accept it without problems.

So we should dispense with the theory that it's somehow SB's rom at fault here.
Only by trial, error and experimenting are we going to solve this...and who knows; it may not EVER be solved....

Peace,
Sox

Well our bad for saying This Rom Like all of us look into this stuff all we want to do is enjoy .

He's just clarifying things. Don't get to upset dude. I'm assuming he figures that you didn't know and that's why he said what he did. Of course he probably could have been a tad bit nicer in his approach but he deals with this all the time from newbies and from myself at one point and it's probably just getting to him. Thank you Sox for the clarification and all you've done to help newbies like myself to understand our devices better, I honestly thought it was a problem with the ROM myself until I read this. :)

I didn't bring it out to be a knock on anybody in particular; I just wanted to make sure that all knew that it (freezing issues)existed before the rom did....I just couldn't pinpoint where it started.
But it doesn't matter where, because all opinions are welcome here... that's how we discover the things that work; nes paz?

Peace,
Sox

It's also occurring to me that this phone is being VERY SELECTIVE (phone to phone, speaking) about the roms they run.
Seems like some run well with as many add-ons as one could possibly put in, while others just absolutely lay an egg.
My phone seems to be of the egg laying variety, and does not like this one, no matter how hard it tries. So I've been forced to revert to my backup pre PT 3.0.3 (sorry, SB)..when the next update posts, I'll be all over it!

Peace,
Sox

OK, so I tried out Apollo, and at first it didn't seem to be working, then I also tried out Viper4Android, but switched back to Rocket Player, and it wouldn't work, then I tried Apollo again, and both Beats and V4A are working, I think Beats was working before with Apollo but I didn't notice because it doesn't make that significant of a difference.

I tried Apollo before with the stock rom from Samsung/Virgin Mobile and it had all kinds of bugs, but it works perfect now on the Party Time rom, so I'm glad you got me to try it out again because Apollo is my favourite music app for Android!

Anyways, V4A actually works much MUCH better than Beats, and it is much more customizable, you should check it out and consider including it instead of Beats. I know Beats has a name, but that's all it is, a name, a marketing scheme, very few professional musicians (and I mean musicians that actually know the technical side of music, not just people who are good at making beats that people like), would ever use Beats Audio, and the only ones that do only do so because they are sponsored by them.

In other words, Beats is nothing but a fad and a fancy bass-boost, while V4A is actually a powerful tool that can twist the audio on your phone to your will, whatever that will may be.

And I'm not looking for an argument with people that might be fans of Beats Audio, if you (SuperBoy) prefer the Beats app then by all means keep the rom as you wish, it is your rom after all, that you put your hard work into, but I'm just making a case to try to persuade you ;)

Just check out Viper4Android if you haven't already.
