Root [ROM]Party Time JB 3.0.X

So I just listened to music in my car for the first time with V4A, and it is so amazing I almost blew out my cars speakers :D

Seriously though, you can make your music sound so amazing with that software.

Well, download is complete... see you all on the other side...

And here we are... the other side. The only thing I found so far is an error msg that says "unfortunately Google text to speech had stopped"...and I think that could be because I installed TouchPal X as a keyboard.
But other than that, I'd say awesome work, SB.
Right now I'm running ADW launcher with a plethera of customization between the theme, icons, folders and wallpaper; the cpu app. (very cool, if I do say so myself) is set at 1516 & 245 and seems to be flowing quite nice.

Peace,
Sox

You on the other side yet?

Yes, it is TouchPal X, I also use it (it is by far the best keyboard app), and I also had that issue, to fix it just go to settings -> applications and disable Google Text to speech, it's pointless anyways (unless you can't read or are practically blind).

Love it. I love it all. But the fact that I can't set a custom background image for the default SMS app (I don't like hangouts) and the desktop wallpaper doesn't fit the same image I used before like it did on 3.0.3 sucks. :/

So who like's the themed status bar/system settings?
I like it, Infact I made my status bar icons about the same In other versions. 2 possible bugs though; My reception icon is offset from the rest and raised, Some status bar icons (Wifi, voicemail, vibrate) are not themed. When manually changing Wifi icon, I can see you changed one set of them but my phone uses the other set =P
EDIT; also did you remove the startup song? Thats not on the change log
EDIT 2; I like setcpu even though though its not my main overclocking app. Even though the developer offers the full free version on XDA, he does ask "ROM developers: Please do not include SetCPU in your ROM. I appreciate the work you're doing, but link to this thread instead, and I'd really appreciate it if you mention that SetCPU is available on the Android Market"
Just noticed that the camera button doesn't work for me. Is this the same for anyone else?
Also unable to use button to launch camera. Not a big deal for me though as i don't take pictures.

Much love~ Josh

The theme is cool, however I also have some icons that are not themed, like wifi. I also have the bug where my camera button does not work.

And if your wallpaper is not fitting the way its supposed to, try restarting the phone after you set a wallpaper. I noticed that at first, but when I restarted my phone wallpaper fit just like it was supposed to.

i'll just remove it from the ROM, i didn't even mean to put it in there, i made the rom first, flashed it to my phone, then made a few things work while i was using the phone and i put it in for me and forgot to remove it before finalizing 3.1, i will just remove it...this is my bad

Son of a b though, the reception. You don't understand lmao, there are some buildings on campus I don't bother trying to text in. I van use mmy phone anywhere now!

It's good to have as few system apps as possible, if an app is available in the market it probably shouldn't be a system app, that way
1: it doesn't take space from people that choose an alternative
2: updates to the app don't take extra space

V4A is a perfect example of what should be a system app, while SetCPU (even though I did think it was cool that you included it) and Google Chrome are examples of apps that shouldn't be system apps.

In fact could you maybe remove everything that is present in the Android market that isn't necessary for the phone to function from the system partition? That way we can manually add the apps ourselves if we want them.

Yeah, setcpu is the only thing that shouldn't be in there...everything else is there on purpose for the aesthetics of the Rom such as hangouts, chrome, Google+ and more, if you want to get rid of them that's fine, but that was my call to keep em

Yeah, it's pretty standard, so I can understand that.
