Root [ROM]Party Time JB 3.0.X

Love it! Its so smooth but I was actually looking forward to the cyanogenmod messaging app. :/ But its smooth and I havent ran into a problem with it yet and I flashed it about two and a half hours ago and had no problems during install.

cm messaging app? What's that?
 
New ROM is sick. Props. I love the look and feel. So far no issues.

Quick question though, how do I change my lockscreen image? It only gives me the default phone options.

I actually have no clue... probably need something that's not such a weird ROM and more stock Samsung or stock AOSP before we can figure that out
 
4.4 is nice. It just throws me off.


edit: No lie though.. what ever changes you made.. I really think they improved my cell reception. I don't think they even can. But they did. lmao
 
new ROM is awesome! many thanks. just a question how do you add more homescreens? I only have one and I can't figure out if you're able to add screens on this ROM.

dragg app to homescreen then drag a new app to a new homescreen...they only are created if you put apps onto them...and try using hangouts as the sms...i like it way more

i did make some tweaks that could have caused that...tweaks to the CSC and some build.prop tweaks...i don't know what i did, but it's possible that one of the things i did to get rid of the update notification ended up in better service...IDK haha

thank you. i tried to use hangouts but it didn't give me the option for sms at first. i had to update the app and then it gave me the option for sms. hangouts seems alright but it has less customization features than the regular messaging app. looks more refined but that is about it
 
I noticed a strange bug, when using the Hangouts app it cant send MMS messages, when I looked it up online it's actually fairly common bug for hangouts, so I tried the stock SMS app and the attachment button doesn't even give the option for images. So I opened up the gallery and hit the share button and was able to send it through the SMS app that way, but it's strange that it doesn't give you the option in the SMS app itself.

Anyone else having these issue?
 
Well, download is complete... see you all on the other side...


And here we are... the other side. The only thing I found so far is an error msg that says "unfortunately Google text to speech had stopped"...and I think that could be because I installed TouchPal X as a keyboard.
But other than that, I'd say awesome work, SB.
Right now I'm running ADW launcher with a plethera of customization between the theme, icons, folders and wallpaper; the cpu app. (very cool, if I do say so myself) is set at 1516 & 245 and seems to be flowing quite nice.

I am having the same problem..I don't know why we have to go to the gallery now but at least we can still send images.
 
Thanks for the update superboy! I also can not send/receive MMS messages with hangouts (PT 3.0.3). Assumed it was a hangout problem. I am downloading 3.1 right now! Was waiting for this update because my phone spams me with that update notification about every 5 mins. All because I want the ability to back my stuff up so I don't brick? Android seriously needs a stfu button.
@MTdude I did this by touch-holding the picture in gallery then setting as lock screen (Not sure if this is different on 3.1)
