Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

Hello everyone:

I have been following tickerguy's and isaac's forums...i installed cm7 and like it a lot...last night i installed MIUI...and love it! Thanks Isaac for your hard work...everything was great, i had a few wifi lockups...Currently I am going back to my last restore which is CM7 because i had no service and i need my phone to always have radio especially for Sunday because of my job...I will be looking forward to the next build, cause MIUI is awesome...again keep up the great work Isaac...
 
Is there an option to boot directly to recovery in any of the menus? I can't seem to find one but I'm probably just looking in the wrong place.

I only see "Reboot" and "Power" options in the toggles.
 
I don't know if it's MIUI or this rom but when i have GrooveIP or Sipdroid running and i dial a number, the option to choose between grooveip and the mobile network doesn't show up, but instead just completes the call with the mobile network

scored nice on quadrant =] almost 3k using v6 supercharger and setcpu set to performance
but over this miui is BEAUTIFUL and themes are beautiful thanks for all the work put into this
 
Went back to miui, noticed when I lost service especially if phone was sleeping, radio would stay at no service until I toggled airplane mode. I tried connection checker and that didn't fix the problem. I'm using "auto network switcher" and this app automatically puts phone in airplane mode when u lose radio connection and then automatically turns off airplane mode after 5 minutes and then I get connected to the radio. I wish it had a setting to toggle after 1 minute not 5...there is a button to toggle immediately as well.

i get weak reception from my house, and haven't come across this problem so far this past week i've had miui, weird
 
I heard that VM is going to cap the data at 2.5GB... Can anyone confirm this?
EDIT: I think this is only for Broadband2Go

Yes, the cap has been confirmed by Virgin Mobile for cell phone data plan. It has been postponed until early 2012.

That sucks :( they better at least lower the price if they do that, or a lot of people will leave VM. Maybe only cap the people that activate their phones AFTER they start capping?

pretty sure everybody is gonna get capped...... not to mention whether its throttling caps or price caps; all companies are going the way of data caps (except sprint who is trying to market their plans based on "no caps") other than that we are paying essentially a "cut rate" plan no matter what. When compared to industry standards we're still doing pretty well, so i don't think this will cost virgin too many customers.

Virgin Mobile is Sprint though... I may switch to actual Sprint because of this. I frequently watch videos, listen to internet radio, download files, and browse the web on my phone. 2.5GB just won't cover it for me :(

The cap is set at 2.5GB then throttle down. Still unlimited though. Just be at least 56k. LOL :D

New build *should* be coming today. I finally have a free day. I'm currently working on a kernel with some new governors to play with.

As per request of some users, I will update this thread (http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...ild-cyanogenmod7-source-development-area.html) with detailed instructions on building an OC kernel. That will go up today as well. The OC kernel should work with either MIUI or CM7. So, if you're feeling adventurous, keep an eye on that thread if you're wanting to try it.

Anytime.. I will be donating more when some more stable versions are out. I also tried convincing ticker to open a donation link so I could throw him some change also. But he never responds to my posts anymore. :-( anyway.. Keep up the great work. I only wish I could help but the only knowledge I have is building and repairing computers. And a little bit of DOS commands. I currently am reading the book "hello Android" and another book on Linux for dummies, but i'm kind of having trouble grasping the concept of it all. (if only there was some videos to teach it ) hopefully in a year I will have some basic knowledge of it all and I could help you. Thanks for all your hard work. Keep it up.
