Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

The cap is set at 2.5GB then throttle down. Still unlimited though. Just be at least 56k. LOL :D

So the throttling isn't even effective yet? Felt like I got throttled last month. I finish 2gb in like 4 days so idk... I get terrible speeds throttled or not. Had my friend tether his T-Mobile vibrant and he got speeds 10x faster than mine. My friends att iPhone 4 got about 5x faster speeds. A throttle would be a joke.

Well there ever be a point in time where you could make it push real triumph updates?

Yeah, if MIUI lets me on their dev team and gives me the source ;)

Joking aside, if we can get the Triumph included in the ROM Manager manifest, I can easily post OTA updates through ROM Manager. The only problem is the Triumph is being ignored for whatever reason.

EDIT: New kernel is still being worked on. I've managed to squeeze out another extra 30-40 mb of RAM. That puts us at a total of 340 RAM available, which is pretty good.

I've been simultaneously working on and testing a new MIUI kernel. I've added 3 new governors: smartassv2, interactive, and minmax.

As I posted before, I was able to squeeze about 30 more megs outta my new kernel. I thought it was it 40, but I calculated wrong. Either way, it's always good to have more RAM to play with.

There's something I want fixed before I put up the new build.

Take ur time man. Nobody's rushing u. Its always worth the wait when Isaac's involved.

Yeah, me too. lol.

Is everyone okay with me removing it? It's useless anyways.

It forced closed the first time I got it... BUT...

I restarted my phone, it appeared again, and it updated successfully.

Also, your ROM is amazing, isaac. Nice to see you working on a separate rom. It's my first time on MIUI and its pretty nice.

Everything Isaac makes is amazing :D

i lose service and 3g every 1-2 hours.... and once i toggle airplane on/off, i get new mail, and text messages i missed. any fix for this? otherwise AMAZING ROM

Yeah, that's what I thought. Try restarting/pulling out battery after you see update notification.

So u have the newest version of Miui? I tried it the other day and the first time it FC then the 2nd time it did the whole updating process and rebooted but failed update, now I'm curious to try it again lol.

i installed that too and on fastest but i still have to toggle airplane every now and then so i switched to experimental lol have u tried the v6sc?
On experimental I occasionally get around 1200-1500 down, but most of the time it's between 500-700. I get around 1m on fastest, so that's what I use. Yeah I'm using V6, it's epic :D I usually have my governor as conservative, and it was kinda laggy before I installed V6 :P

So I've been lurking these forums for a while now, appreciating the ROOT forums and getting excited at all the fancy screen shots of your custom ROMS. I want to do this to my triumph, but I have no idea how to go about rooting..or managing roms..or whatever.

Is there a noob-guide out there somewhere designed for the triumph that would tell me how to go about installing MIUI?

Should I install MIUI? I mean, are there any flaws to this rom right now?

Thanks for helping!

Alright, after some personal changes to TG's new camera libs and a some work on the kernel, I was able to get the FFC orientation correct for both Potrait and Landscape modes (this is what I've been working on). I've tested this in Google Talk video chat and it's working. The only bug I have is the image on both snapshots and video calling is mirrored, but that's only minor (and can be fixed).

I'm also now using the original MiuiCamera app instead of the hacked one I found which is good because it is a lot newer than the hacked one.
