Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

@mantera:

AFAIK, no. There isn't anything that would necessarily stop OC'ing from working in MIUI. The X6/Mi-410 port has a kernel that supports OC'ing. It could be something in the init. If you have ADB setup. you can what the max freq is. I don't remember the path to it off the top of my head. It's something like:

Code:
/sys/devices/platform/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_frequencies
Yeah, I was looking at that file (scaling_max_freq) yesterday as well as the cpu_max_freq and they both list 1024000. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to actually change those values to anything else since they're in use. When I try to adb push the files back I get a permission denied and it doesnt look like I can flash them via a flashable zip--or if it did work, they got changed back when my phone boots up. I wish the recovery had a tty console...

Oh well, guess I'll have to do more research. Thanks for the info.

Check the available frequencies in that same area. See if the OC'ed freqs are even being picked up let alone broadcasted.

isaac, you rock bro! thanks for bringing us MIUI and getting the CM7 project kicked off. we owe you and tickerguy a huge debt of gratitude. check ur paypal, I dropped u some beer money... its not much but thx again!

anyone figure out a fix for dropping data? I had this issue with CM7, but connection checker did the trick. Unfortunately with MIUI, connection checker is killing the radio altogether. When it detects no mobile connection, it attempts to toggle Airplane mode, but instead of restoring data, the radio reports No Service (x icon on the status bar) and connection checker gives up. It works sometimes, but more often than not, it reports no service immediately after. However, if I manually toggle airplane mode when it says no service, it starts working again... any ideas?

Exact same here connection checker kills my service all together and I never get it back

I use juice defender. It might not be exactly what you are lookingfor though. I use it because it saves a ton of battery life by turning of the data when the screen is off and turns it on when the screen comes on.

Because of this, i do not have the dropping data issue . My battery also lasts anywhere from 1.5X to 2X as before. If you need data while your screen is off, it's probably not what your looking for.

Is anyone having issues with 3G? I get 3 bars but no 3G at all, tried enabling and disabled airplane mode. I even went back to CM7 and still no 3G.
EDIT: 3G is working again.

anyone getting screen lockups even if wifi is off? happens every couple days for me :(

Yea i had to wipe it. It had just cut off by itself i know that hard to believe but that's what happen. It went into bootcycle and won't stop but i could lock and unlock the screen.

I use to. I`ve been pricking around with the build.prop, wlan cfg file, and so on and for the last week I`ve had no issues whatsoever with connectivity in CM7. I've also had zero lockups or reboots in this state. Now if I try to run juice defender or some of the connectivity tweaks (3g booster) my particular phone gets upset and I start getting lock ups, reboots, or oddities like the wifi not come back on... So I`ve made a nandroid backup of my flawlessly running phone and been carefully trying things.. I`m pretty happy with it as I have it now. I wish I knew which of my diddlings or combinations of got it this stable, as I`d like to try to get my MIUI backup running just as well.

Yeah I think the problem was on Virgin/Sprint's end. After a couple hours it was working fine again.

Thx for the tip! Unfortunately, I use google voice for all my texts, so if I kill data I wont get my push notifications =(

Yup, the only way I've found to get it to come back is to toggle airplane mode manually... So for now, I just disabled connection checker & do it the old fashion way, open a browser and see if my home page opens, if not, I toggle data, and that usually brings it back to life. Knock on wood, but data only dropped on me twice today...

I don't have time to put it up tonight, but the next release is revved up and ready to go.

I managed to get video working on FFC, but I'm still working on 720p recording with the the rear. The camera orientation is mostly fixed. Plus all the other fixes I promised with the new kernel.

I have my mid-term tomorrow, but I'll upload it tomorrow after class. See you guys tomorrow.

Thanks Isaac! And good luck tomorrow!

thanks, i appreciate it.

I managed to figure out why 720p wasn't working (fixed it in the kernel). 720p is recording is now working and will be included in the next build. The camera (both front and rear) are 95% functional. The only problem remaining is FFC is not mirrored.

What do you mean its not mirrored ? What's does that mean ?

Just like it sounds. When using the FFC, the image displayed on the screen will mirror your movements. Imagine if you were sitting in front of a mirror. When you move to the right, what you see in mirror does as well.

In preview mode, the FFC obeys this rule. However, during video calling and snapshots, it doesn't.

Thanks for all your hard work dude. The rom you put out is amazing. I just put it on my phone yesterday. Keep up the good work!
