I was hoping you didn't say wipe data I'm getting tired of redoing all my apps .Other than that this build is really nice.

Let me check something real quick. I think we may be able to avoid having to redo apps and settings if I put the updater back in the build. If so, I'll put another revision up with the updater back and the backup tool *should* work.

think it might be system settings or depends on what you are restoring. i just restored messages, desktop layout, and theme and it restored fine.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. Restoring isn't that big a deal for me, but I'm sure it is for others. I have to wipe constantly because I'm working on these projects.

updated miui and restored a miui backup and it's boot looping. guess that doesn't work
format and reinstall..worked for me
yea i did a battery pull and just resintalled. btw i'm talking about the miui backup app...

[MOD] Extended Settings Menu Options
the download link is towards the end of the thread. remove the framework.jar from the zip before flashing.
it lets you customize the status bar to remove carrier name, center clock, remove am/pm etc. enjoy

Speaking of "updates" and CWM.... has koush just been ignoring you? I have noticed that you have been on top of things when it comes to our recovery, and quite frankly, he hasn't done squat for you (or the rest of us.) Is there any hope of us being added to ROM Manager?
BTW: Thank you so much for the update (and just the fact you ported this ROM to us). Now I have to decide which ROM I like better.... (MIUI or CM7)

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't flash it though. I just pushed the 3 apks with ADB.

Wow, the new build is awesome! 720p video capture, torch, smartassv2, and more memory! Just wish I could do HDMI out, I bought an HDMI cable hoping you or tickerguy would fix it.

FAAAAAAAAAKKKKK your right no headphones! I wiped, formatted, I updated restored my data and no headphones. Gotta go back I used headphones everyday
