Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

@issac thanks. didn't think of that. just wish he could get the show on the road for the triumph. but seriously you should try the 4shared app to download games and apps since you would probably end up deleting them after testing anyway. i use it to see if i like the games before i buy them. ;-) just looking out for you man. Anyway... keep an eye out next friday i'm gonna send you some more cash.

I really don't know what his deal is. He claims that he can't get my recovery to build. Yet, there have been number users who have built it personally for themselves. :rolleyes:

I'm trying to be patient, but it's been over 2 months now. If he would just add the recovery (and Triumph to the manifest), I could easily distribute updates of CM7 and MIUI OTA. In fact, this is what I did with the CM7-Ascend project. *sigh*
 
someone please upload a clean version of the image folder having serious issues and NEED them. thanks in advance.

What if I paid for order and chaos for you? Also what is cm7 getting for gpu memory? All the games seem to work on it.
 
Why do you guys what mms? Just to send pictures? If that's the case you could install the share to Imgur app and just send links. There are a number of Imgur apps, but at least one adds a 'share to' menu item, and then it gives you a url with a copy button.

That is a good alternative but Not a lotof people have high end phones that allows themto easily change between the texting app and the browser app.plus with MMS you have it there saved on the phone for easy and quick access .
 
Isaac im hoping you can help me. Last night i flashed your rom via your cwm so i could check out the new release. After installing it stayed on the m logo so i pulled the battery and tried to do a restore of my backup but it wouldnt boot to recovery mode so i went to download mode and replaced the recovery with the same img file again. Then rebooted back to cwm. After trying to restore my backup i got a few error messages saying boot.img not found. same with system, data, and cache. So i tried flashing back to a deodexed stock rom which worked but now the m logo wont show up when starting. So i then tried booting in cwm again but it didnt vibrate nor boot to cwm or even back to the rom. So i then tried going back to download mode which worked but there was no polling or any indication that it was in dm with the exception that the mobile partition showed up. So i then went to drastic measures and replaced every file in the image folder with stock copies. Then i booted back to cwm and flashed my backup again and got the same results as before. Can not find boot.img,system, data. So i finaly gave up and rebooted to cwm again and just flashed deodexed rom. But still download mode is a blank screen and there is no m logo, but it still boots to the rom. I am completely lost seeings how i have never had an issue like this before. All of my backups are good i just dont uderstand why it tells me it cant find the image files for system boot and data nor shows download mode and m logo. Any ideas what went wrong...?

As suggested by other users, I decided to try out Juice Defender. It's free on the Market and it toggles off data when the device is asleep and toggles it back on after waking it up. It's not a *real* solution, but it works for me.

I haven't had any trouble with my data after using Juice Defender. Plus, my battery life is better, so that's a bonus.

As Isaac stated Juice Defender takes care of the radio issues with the phone. One thing it does do is turn off (3G) when wireless is on, however it still can accept text messages and calls. One downside to Juice is if you have wireless on and the phone goes to sleep when it comes back up WiFi will not reconnect 3g will, so you will need to turn off WiFi and turn it back on to work. This maybe a problem on my side but it's what I have noticed. Currently I have Juice setup on aggressive

Also you can setup Juice Defender to turn off via SMS in case you have prey installed to track the phone if it has been lost or stolen. There is a good article about Prey @ Life Hacker. It took about a day for my registration to go through with Prey just an FYI.

One last thing here is a good article about 17 features you may or may not know are part of MIUI.

Hit me up on Github PM. I "acquired" Backstab HD, but whenever it runs it tells me that my phone isn't supported. I think that would be the best game to really test out changes for GPU.

The issue isn't sending pics, that works fine. It's receiving. Sux when u got a chick wanting to send u some fun pics n all u get is hgjjvdgbcddhh458545666';//+;:':*467
 
Well after a good nights rest and some clear thinking I solved my own problem. When I flashed the deodexed stock ROM
It unrooted my phone which was the reason I couldn't do a recovery. I feel like a dummie. Now if only I can figure out why download mode is a black screen.

Anyway... Congrats Isaac on the mms fix. You know I'll set you right on Friday. Keep up the great work. If you fix the hdmi out I would be ecstatic. But no rush. Your doing miracles.

As some of you may know, a new version of MIUI was released on Fri. (1.10.14). I'm going to try and bump us up to the new version and the MMS fix will be in that build as well.

I should also mention that I built a new kernel that gave all the original memory allocated for GPU back. Hopefully, this will squash all issues with gaming once and for all.

EDIT: I'm going to try Sentinel 3: Homeworld HD. Will report back.

EDIT2: Alright, I see what you guys are talking about. I'm going to try and fix it.
