Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

New build is up. Check the changelog for details. No wipe should be necessary, but, as always, YMMV.

I allowed for the cap key lights to be dimmable, but I didn't set any default dimmed values (i.e. the keys are still at full brightness). If, however, you would like to dim the keys, you can set your own values in:

Settings --> Display Settings --> Advanced Mode --> Edit other levels...

Thank u Isaac! I just want to report as well every time I try to send a long sms, that's over 2 pages? (U know what I mean) the other person isn't getting it I tried 4 times, so lately I just break it down and send them short sms separately, anybody have the same issue?

That sounds like an issue with MIUI. I don't/can't work on MIUI itself; I'm just trying to get it working on our phones as best as possible. The only place I can find to request/report issues is here: MIUI Official Site

should we still format system when flashing over the previous MIUI build?

If you want, but when you flash the package, the updater-script already formats /system for you.

EDIT: Here's an excerpt of the updater-script:

Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "triumph" ||
       getprop("ro.build.product") == "triumph");
unmount("/system");
show_progress(0.500000, 0);
[B]format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p7");[/B]
mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p7", "/system");

after i apply a theme can i delete it from my sd card and it will just stick... even with ringtones, alarms, notification sounds, and font? just wondering because i do notice that when i mount my sd card in mass storage nothing changes so it seems like it caches the theme settings images and everything to the phone when you apply the theme. just wondering if that's how it works and i can and/or should delete the themes from my sd card.

Hi Everyone, I found something strange using usb tethering. I can only get to google sites (google.com/news, gmail, etc), everything else just connected and nothing shows up in browser. Is it just me?
Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same issue with the usb tether, using 10232011-2 (had issue with previous build as well). I've wiped everything that can be wiped, and reflashed the latest MIUI with no change. Only google sites load while everything else just hangs until they eventually timeout.

Any suggestions? I can usb tether with the latest CM7 build no problem to toss another wrinkle into my problem.

I dig this rom, and getting tether sorted out would be the proverbial cherry on top.

I'd guess that the MTU fix was left out in this ROM. If I remember correctly, the reason you can only visit Google sites is because the MTU was set to something like 1472 which only allowed you to visit pages under a certain limit of kb. Google sites are only a few kb, so that's why Google was able to load fine. Tickerguy implemented the fix.

Honestly, I didn't even know this ROM had tethering support... or bluetooth tethering support. I thought bluetooth tether was native to CM7 and that's why it was working.

Either Isaac simply forgot to implement the MTU fix because he's working countless hours for us (hats off to you, Isaac! :) ) or we're all doomed and it's the end of the world, and 2012 arrived early.

I fixed USB tethering. (I'm using it right now, actually) It'll be in the next build.

ok so i'm posting this in both the CM7 thread and here because this is useful to everyone that is running a custom ROM and has ClockWork Mod installed on their phone. I ran across an article of a fairly new app that is available that allows restoring apps backed up in your nandroid backup while using your phone instead of having to restore through recovery mode or use titanium backup. the link is here https://market.android.com/details?id=com.handyandy.appextractor seems pretty sweet because you can even restore you SMS and MMS through it.

say i wanted to use Boot Manager. what would the setting for it be since our device is unsupported, and by setting i mean when it loads up it asks what is your sd block? what is your system's size in MB? what is your data's size in MB? what is your cache's size in MB. it would be sweet to just be able to switch back and forth instead of havking to flash back and forth through recovery, and i was wondering if it would even work on our phone? thanks!

Overscroll_ESCenter.zip

remember to remove the framework file before flashing or it will bork the system :)

and you need to /mount system before flashing

I tried as you suggested, and it seemed to go through fine. Changed carrier name, center clock, colors, etc wondefully. Then I tried to hit the wifi toggle - and every time I do that, I get the MIUI intro screen, then lock...no wifi. Any suggestions? TIA :)
Edit: NM, reboot several times then came online. Will say making theme changes can occasionally crash, but not sure if that's MIUI theme manager issues or this. Still, it's pretty awesome :)

might be because that version you downloaded is outdated. here's the mod for 1.10.14

Overscroll_ESCenter.v2.zip

here's the original link to the mod

http://forums.miuiandroid.com/showthread.php?7738-MOD-Extended-Settings-Menu-Options

the version on there is for 1.10.21 though :)

I had that happen once with one of my other androids. I ended up needing to re-flash. Wipe data and cache then reinstall. That's the only thing that worked for me. If you did a recent nandroid you could always try to restore it.
