Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

They both got basically the same things working. CM7 currently has the wifi lockup fixed but it sounds like Isaac should be adding that to MIUI soon also. The only other thing that is a basic difference (other than the obvious differences in the interface, of course) is that this MIUI build can connect to hidden (non-broadcasting) wifi networks and CM7 apparently can't at this time.
So if that's not an issue for you, I'd say go with whichever one has the interface that you like better since they have the same basic stuff functioning.

Does that mean we will have full video RAM back now? Or video graphics? (I forgot exactly what it was but you said we didn't have it or something)
this is great.... it feels like a different phone! still android.... but so smooth and pretty!

Wow Isaac...! You kind of worried me for a minute there... I haven't been on in a few days and was reading to catch up on everything, when I read the part where you said you were going to call it quits on miui. It scared me worst than howl-O-scream last night. Lol anyway...
If it's any constellation, I think which ever ROM you choose to work on is going to be golden and I would use it. Great work man. More donations are coming soon.

I actually locked myself in a box with my phone until Isaac announced he was going to still try to work on it.

First of all, thank you so much for your work on this awesome ROM, it's like a major upgrade for the phone, I love it!!
However, there are 2 issues I have:
1) I don't think the WIFI issue is fully fixed yet. I can manually turn on the wifi w/o problem, however, when the screen turns off(wifi goes to sleep) then wakes up again, with wifi on it causes the phone to reset itself. I'm wondering if this is an isolated issue since WIFI is marked as "working".
2) this is kinda minor and I don't remember how the stock ROM behave on this anymore. When I click the power button to wake up the phone, the 4 touch buttons on the bottom lights up immedaitely, but there is a slight delay for the screen to wake up, same thing happens when i receive a phone call. It's not a huge issue but it's noticeable.
Any advices from more experienced user to fix by adjusting different settings or such are greatly appreciated. And thanks again for porting the wonderful ROM!

Try changing the file as per page 14 I believe and install Advanced Wifi Lock. If battery drain is an issue, you can set AWL to turn off wifi after a certain amount of time.
Since I did this days ago my phone hasn't rebooted once. It used to reboot a couple times a week on stock even.

When I first tried CM7, my impression was that it was way faster than stock (even though I was already fine with the speed of stock, and even impressed by it), it had a couple cool things and got rid of some bloatware nonsense. So it was good, even with its problems. But when I tried MIUI, it was like Christmas morning.
I'm using MIUI daily now. For me to even bother trying anything else it would have to be amazing. Going to send a few dollars, which I never do.

First off, your rom is absolutely wonderful. I cannot express how much I love it! I do wish to report two bugs though. First one is that the phone keeps recharging itself. I mean one minute the phone will say it is charged. Then I wake the phone up a bit later and the phone is charging at 91%!
The second thing was that the phone rebooted itself once when I used the camera.
Other than that, things are great! Keep up the great work on this awesome rom!

Both of those issues come from the same underlying problem, which is the "deep sleep" workaround that completely sleeps WiFi when the phone sleeps. They will be fixed in the next build. Or if you can't wait that long, read the last few pages of this thread for a solution.
Did u use es file explorer and open /system/etc/firmware/wlan/qcom_cfg.ini in the text editor change gEnableSuspend=2 to gEnableSuspend=3
