TG fixed WIFI lock-ups, so that will be in the next build (along with native USB tethering). Maintaining MIUI has become a pain in the ass considering they release a new build *every* Friday. I don't have the time to keep migrating all the stuff I did to each new build and I'm tired of messing with a ROM
with no source (that makes me less trusting of MIUI as well). For these reasons, I'm going to stop devoting time to MIUI.
However, since CM7 is making
tremendous progress, I'd like to return back to that project. CM is the best place for me to develop my programming skills (even if I won't ever need them). Unfortunately, smali coding is pretty pointless, IMO.
I've already started work on HDMI and when I find time for it, that's what I want to focus my attention on. If and when HDMI and/or other problems are fixed in CM7, I will try to find time to backport those fixes to MIUI.
In the end, I'm glad that I was able to bring the elusive MIUI to the Triumph. If Xiaomi ever realizes how selfish they are and gives back to the community, you bet your ass I'll be all over that source.
EDIT: WIFI fix seems to be working well. I haven't had any problems.
EDIT2: Proximity sensor seems okay as well. I didn't have any problems with this after the 10/23 build, but it seems it's still working.
