Also, I can't seem to get the thunder.prop to stick, I purchased a game but now can't see it. When I could, it was coming up incompatible.
I have run into this once or twice, forgot to mention it in my first reply. What I did was go in to the play store on my computer and installed it there then it downloaded to my phone fine and I could install it after that. The play store has been acting funny sometimes for about a month or two. There are times that I will try to install an app and it will give an error and the next day it will work fine. Hope this helps for now.
I don't know if it's been mentioned but I am having trouble with my facebook and google accounts. None of my facebook contacts are in my phone even though it says it syncs them. I've tried to re sync them and have removed all my accounts and added them again. Any ideas?
I don't use the facebook app or a few others because of information that they gather. So, somebody who uses it is gonna have to chime in on that one. But, I have had no issues at all with my google accounts syncing. Did you try adding facebook first to see if it would sync?
Hey bsydes, i have run this rom for a week with no issues, 2 small details the status bar and sharp ui froze randomly but only once and phone was still usable, and i noticed if u run wifi for an extended period the phone will drop data completly until restart, other than that it is great, i have a brand new triumph arriving today cause this ones kinda wacky, and that may fix my issues, ill update accordingly. Also is this a virgin stock rom or another companies rom, i was thinking of trying to get activations working on it and would be easier if was a virgin rom, that would def. Set this rom far ahead if not already has done so
I can't say that I have had any of those problems. The UI freeze could have been a million different things and since you only saw it once I would chalk that up to a random occurrence unless more people see it happen. It seems that the 3G not reconnecting has only been reported by you. Did you cycle airplane mode, like before? Also some people had issues with older versions when wifi was on and not connected and gps on at the same time, it would knock out all of their phone signal and 3G. But that doesn't sound like what is happening here.
This is not a Virgin Mobile ROM, I am looking in to adding all the bells and whistles, like activation, but just haven't gotten around to it. There are dependencies in lib, framework, app, and the hidden partition, plus symlinks need to be created, and all that has to work in harmony. Over the next few weeks, and after some more feedback about possible bugs, I will be putting together possibly a final version. Hopefully I can get the two fixes added into the ROM, and work out any bugs. There are a lot of people using this now, and the more people we have on Ver6, the easier it will be to get this as perfect as possible. I've been getting busy lately with work, so time is a little short right now, but I do try to work on stuff as I find time.
