Those 4 are an exact match for what I posted. We're both pulling from the same source rom it seems (or at least items built from the same source code).

It's gotta be something in the .mkv . I grabbed a .mp4 (1080p) and H/W decoding works fine. I can't post the .mkv due to copyright issues (copy of Legend of Korra) . This explains a lot, but now I've got to find out why .mkv isn't working right. Both are H.264/AAC, so the wrapper really shouldn't cause that much of an issue.
 
OK so I'm semi new to romming and have switches to the aokp build and the cm build and am having trouble with video playing and WiFi not working correctly. I can get a video saved in my gallery to play but its choppy and just awful and my WiFi is saying my router is out of range and I'm 10 ft away from it. Any suggestions or fixes?
 
So the media issues was in the media_profiles.XML? Then would the HW issue be in the hw folder in the lib folder? Or in the build.prop?
 
Wow last time I was around these parts you guys where using TDM build off a leaked ICS... Looks like I missed alot huh? looks like Ill be using my spec again until end of march when I grab S4 so whats the deal with this rom? It looks pretty ******* shweet and i love me some pink unicroness but this is said BETA.. Whats the deal, I scanned through really quick and see the usual kinks but anything I should really know before flashing this?

And if you say read OP than ill give you pink eye.. dont ask how

Oh oh oh and hey guys again, long time, hope your Christmas is spectacular
 
YouTube videos seem to be working better, however, something strange is happening...

Try and play an HD video on YouTube. The video plays fine, but it stays on top of everything. Pull down the status bar or try and change the volume.. the video stays in top and overlaps.

EDIT: Only happens in portrait mode..

Nothing major just gps won't work unless you're phone has had the ics ota (don't know why yet) and if you press the power button while the camera is up the phone will usually reboot immediately.

Overall a very solid build. I should probably call it release soon.

the only thing I think you should know is that cm10 runs smoother than aokp41. aokp41 has all the bells and whistles, but cm10 has the nice smooth user experience, so it comes down to whats more important to you as a user. Though I like the concept behind aokp more than cm, it came down to fluidity for me. So cm10 wins...

What marks would you like to hit before calling this an RC1? Also, once this hits RC status, are you going to submit all this stuff to the main CM branch?

You should be able to. I've dirty flashed the last few updates and haven't had any problems. B3 seems to be working food for me. I've only tried a couple of videos but they seem to work fine. Recording seems to work alright also.

Lol I thought the file sizes were different... same 4 files tho.

Edit: just looked again... I must be on something lol. Exact same - my bad.
 
I must have missed it... What the changelog in beta3? Just the xml update from beta2b?

Edit... NM, I found the post. Can you change the op with changes as they come? It'll help decide if we need to update or not.
