Root [ROM] Quattrimus JB (CM10, AOKP41)

TDM:

Quick check. On init.iproj.rc in the kernel, the first line calls out "import init.iproj.usb.rc" but that file doesn't exist in the kernel. Is this a bad import line or a missing file?

Also, sweet work on CM10 :D

Thanks tdm. I'm flashing now. Sure hope I have better luck with data on cm10 than I did on cm9. Either way, I'm stoked just to be able to use JB on the spec.

Don't know about USB storage but adb always comes up for me after enabling it.

Not to rain on the parade. I'm just trying to figure this out. Data has been solid over several reboots (no funny radio on/off).

I'm on a Win7 machine. I haven't been able to get any USB recognition. I get the sad "bum, bum, bum" when I plug USB in.

EDIT: ADB works over recovery.

I don't know about anyone else, but GPS is working for me...

CWM, complete wipe (/cache, /data, and /system), installed CM10 and GApps in the same CWM session, boot, login to Google but no "Restore", installed GPS Status from market, did a GPS state reset, and then a Download Assist Data. First lock took a *long* time, but subsequent locks in 10-15 seconds with ~30 ft (not m) accuracy indoors

This showed up as a new device for me when I plugged it in, so if you see something along the lines of (unidentified device) in your system manager, you may need to point it towards your LG driver. I have a feeling it has to do with the kernel question I have for TDM as I'm not seeing any option to mount this device as a USB drive, but I can ADB in to it just fine.

Niggling little thing, but no deep sleep on this kernel so far.

Several reboots and locking and setting it aside for several minutes...no go.

Might be an app...anyone else seeing this?

Can confirm now: GPS is working. GPS Test app locked in under 10 seconds, 8 satellites.

Welp, I'm good here. That's all I was really missing...

My Galaxy Nexus is now officially retired. Thank you, tdm.

TDM:
Another small fix, and something I was looking into on CM9.

/system/bin/init.qcom.bt.sh
line 42 should read as:
/system/bin/brcm_patchram_plus --no2bytes --patchram /system/bin/BCM4330B14.hcd /dev/ttyHS0

as we do not have file /etc/firmware/BCM4330B1_002.001.003.0243.0308.hcd

Incorrect USB device id maybe?

If you don't like the tcdma 64 label. You can change it to anything you want. Just download the file and follow the direction.

I tried it and it works

1) Download eri.xml onto your desktop or some folder you will remember where it has been placed.
2) Open "eri.xml" with something such as NotePad or WordPad and edit everywhere you see "Whatever you want or delete this and nothing will show up". You can simply change the text or delete the text between the quotations and nothing will show up.
3) Save "eri.xml" and copy it to the root of your SD Card.
4) Open Root Explorer or an app similar, copy "eri.xml" from your SD card to "/data" directory. Please make sure you are not placing it in /sdcard/data
5) Also make sure that eri.xml has the same permissions as in the thumbnail below.
6) Reboot, and Enjoy!

Can anyone tell me why I flashed the cab, but my radio is still stuck in 'roaming'?

When you guys go to 'Network', what does it say under sim card? 'NV' or 'sim'? I think thats my problem and I'm about to flash AOKP again to try to get the hardware working with the software again.

But dev feedback would be appreciated, since I'm at a loss. i tried all the tricked I used to use on my Droids when the data crapped out like this to no avail.

I didn't have the roaming issue but I did have a prob with data. The only thing that worked for me was to restore my backup of stock and the *#*#4636#*#* menu and it was set to CDMA only. Not sure what I changed it to but got 4g back right away and I still have it on cm9 and 10. Hope that works for you

Flash CM9, go into data options until you reach a menu that says NV or RUIM. Choose RUIM. Reboot into recovery and then flash stock or CM10.

Great ROM tdm. I am spoiled by AOKP, now I won't like anything else. GPS is working, MMS is working. Haven't tested Bluetooth yet.. No issues with data, 4g comes up right away. Now only if someone can test GSM outside of US to see if it has made spectrum a global phone...
