Root [ROM] Quattrimus JB (CM10, AOKP41)

yo, I need a bit of help...I flashed cm10 over to my spectrum, the messaging kept crashing so I restarted my phone and it put my phone in a bootloop. Now I can only flash gb based roms on my spectrum or I get bootlooped

What were you running before you flashed cm10? Did you wipe data/cache/dalvik before flashing cm10?

I was running brokenout spectrum before I flashed it on. The funny thing is that I got it to successfully flash once. The problem started when I restarted my phone.
Edit: And yes, I did wipe data, cache and dalvik

For GPS, I just found this in the stock ICS rom:

GPS.conf

[HIGH]################################
# EXTRA SETTINGS
################################
MODEM=SVLTE
VENDOR=VZW[/HIGH]

Just guessing, but I'm assuming the GPS is expecting something like this before firing up and not getting it, so flashing from ics with gps working to cm10 and messing with gps, already has this sent to the gps

The issue is that now I can't flash any ics based rom.. so I'm pretty much stuck with gb

You need to flash the stock ICS rom first. Go here - http://androidforums.com/spectrum-a...pdate-trust-me-your-answer-probably-here.html
Look under "The situation : You have CWM and you DO want the ICS update."

After your on stock ICS, you will need to root and unlock the bootloader. This can be accomplished with the pwnage tool - http://androidforums.com/spectrum-a...20-bootloader-pwnage-tool-lg-spectrum-4g.html

After that you will be able to flash non stock ICS roms or cm10/aokp41.

You wanna try adding these lines to /system/etc/gps.conf and see if it makes a difference?
Code:
################################
# EXTRA SETTINGS
################################
MODEM=SVLTE
VENDOR=VZW

Those two lines are in my stock ics build and I still get reboots on it. If I have been reading the thread correctly one thing tdm and I have in common is no service from verizon. I suspect the gps files are somehow looking to do assisted gps first to save power.

I was meaning on CM10....

Happens on CM10 too. I tried adding those to my gps.conf in CM10 too. Went back to stock to try and diagnose. Sorry for the confusion.

Dude, yours sounds like a hardware issue. Take it to VZW

GPS is tied to something in the radio partitions. I DD imaged my original V6 mmcblk0p10 and mmcblk0p11 and lost GPS and it did not come back when flashing back the previous images. I'm trying to find a way to restore GPS without flashing back to ICS. So far I'm not having much luck.
