Root [ROM] Quattrimus JB (CM10, AOKP41)

I'm interested to know if aosp41 will be butta like jelly bean is supposed to be because I havent been impressed with the smoothness of aokp41 or cm10, though cm10 does run decently smooth, I still see lots of frame rate drops and choppy scrolling.

Maybe I just gamed on PC's with perfect 60+ fps for too many years and expect perfection now, or maybe our hardware just isnt capable of running anything flawlessly.

Thanks for your work and efforts tdm, I look forward to trying out aosp42...I mean 41 :p

Got aosp41 booted and running on my Spectrum. Brief overview:

Working:
* WiFi
* Bluetooth
* Back camera

Not working:
* Firmware links are not being created at first boot.
* Default RIL is not working, need CM's LGEQualcommUiccRIL and related stuff.
* Front camera
* USB storage

Busted! Adding the Qualcomm RIL stuff breaks the build...

target Dex: framework

trouble writing output: Too many methods: 65540; max is 65536. By package:

And this, ladies and gents, is why CM has framework2.jar. Need to get that going next.

eta for the spectrum? :p jk, thanks for sharing the link. Reading it kinda made me want to flash aokp41.

You saw this right?

"They have also added various bug fixes (to cure what some have called the second buggiest release of Android ever)"

Yes I saw it lol. I actually thought it was referring to android 4.2 not aokp41.

Yes it was... so I was wondering if you were still so keen on getting cm10.1/aokp4.2 on your phone. ;)
I'm in no rush to update to CM10.1, as that would mean redoing CWM recovery as well and it was hard enough getting people off the first recovery as is.

*backs away slowly with his gnex running cm10.1 nightlies*

I'm sorry! I can stop crack flashing at any time! I just don't want to right now...

Yeah! and I can stop watching review videos for the phone I'm gonna be getting next week.

I've done pretty much nothing else all day. It's just so damn pretty.
