Root (ROM) Release Motion Collab Version 3.0

i get stuck at LG Logo screen flashing from ver D. I wiped data/factory reset wiped cache and dalvik i dunno where i went wrong...
 
I know that I'm not running this and I may not be the most popular guy for some of you cats, but I've watched the thread unfold this evening and if it's not unwelcome, I wanted to chime in with an idea. :o

Because there were questions about benchmarks, and answers about apps like Google Now (as one example) and because it's not uncommon to connect the dots between a preemptive multitasking operating system (Android), multitasking tweaks (V6 Supercharger), apps stealing cycles (Now), performance (benchmarks) and maybe moving forward, battery performance, I'd like to suggest GSAM Battery Monitor.

Lower left icon is a Hoover, for what's sucking power. Top bar of the page it leads to is a drop down menu. You can use it to view time held awake and number of times waking device.

Although it's supposed to be just a battery monitor, it's pretty good for giving insight into the overall system, and unlike some other monitors, I've found it to be quite accurate. You can even get a feel for how both cores are doing.

I use it quite a bit for testing new rom development, especially when looking at performance tweaks. It's not a silver bullet and for many, it might not be much, but maybe it is something. Hope this helps. ;)

I've just installed and I'm running firmware D. If you're still wondering if it works right on D, I'll report via an edit.

edit anyway: Installed and running A-okay so far! Just waiting for my apps to be restored, shouldn't take long at all.

second edit: two hours into playing with this and still no problems!
 
My first shot at a rom on the Motion and it looks good. Coupla problems though, cannot get mms to work, tried to send picture and it just keeps trying but no luck completing. Also when I tried to reload the lg keyboard from tb it also just kept trying but eventually I had to shut the phone off to break the cycle. Think you could include the lg keyboard in the next version and post a fix for mms?
Well I went and downloaded the 4.2 keyboard and am using that one now, so the issue with the lg keyboard isn't as pressing as it was but anyone else needing it you might want to post a fix for it. Thanks
 
the lg keyboard does not like to be deodexed so I use 4.2 keyboard and ill look into the mms situation I have recived them ;P ill try to send now

Is the 4.2 keyboard already included in this ROM or no? I flashed a .zip for the keyboard after I flashed this ROM, so I really don't know.
 
When I ran Supercharger V6 with Script Manager my phone keeps rebooting by itself. I had to uninstall script manager to stop it. Any idea why this is happening? :confused:
 
this is what it should look like when you run script when v6 is already active.

ok now that everyone has V6 installed there is a few maintenance tasks that can be done once a week to eliminate lag.

To maintain the rom:

Once a week or so please open Terminal Emulator.

Type
Code: [Select]
su
and press enter.
Grant Terminal Emulator SuperUser permissions.
Then type
Code: [Select]
vac

and press enter.
Disregard any errors you may see as they will not affect vacuuming.

Also, please grant terminal emulator SuperUser permissions as above and type
Code: [Select]
sclean

This will wipe dalvik and rebuild it upon reboot without affecting the Dalvik to sd flag.
 
Also can you guys put a version with smart launcher basic I'm really digging its look and feel. Reminds me of unity and gnome 3 with categorization.
