Root (ROM) Release Motion Collab Version 3.0

Ok guys, just wanted to thank yall for your hard work on these roms, I am currently running the 3.0 and its quite snappy. IM sure you folks prolly use your phone much more than I do and have better understandings of all its features, but MAN.....this thing is rather snazzy now.........keep up the good work!!!
 
Alright, as far as the mms issues goes when I tried to run it and it failed I didn't have data enabled just wi-fi. Even though I thought that wifi alone would be able to send and receive mms messages apparently it isn't so. Once I enabled and started my regular data process all mms messages and photos got sent. Is this how it should work or should I be able to use just wi-fi to send and receive mms?

By the way, this 3.0 version is quite nice, responsive and fast. Just a quick note, after I enabled this when I checked my wifi connections I all of a sudden had a second working wifi address that is very strong and fast. I've never before had this happen. Right now I'm using my own wifi connection but I'm concerned that if I can use the other one can someone also get access to my phone through the same connection?
 
as far as I know you will need data enabled to send mms or test. and can you please explain exactly what you did to get the 2nd wifi I don't quite understand LOL yer phone is auto making its self a hotspot?
 
I ran packet sniffers and had the data monitor on let it run overnight nothing is sending or reciving that shouldn't be so if you can explain to me maybe we can see whats going on.
 
I hate not having my rig I can't contribute unless i go to the library and they just closed, lol. init.d is usually something that needs an unlocked boot loader /aftermarket kernel but there are work arounds for stock roms. Without init.d and init.rc full support we can't have true a2sd.only linkstoa2sd if you can figure it out go for it scrubs. There was a great thread on xda I was looking thru about two weeks ago that had the work arounds there was three different ways too
 
I wish I had more info for you but I don't. All I know is that suddenly I had this second wifi connection available. Right now I'm using my own which disables the other one, but if I enable the other one it starts right up. I never entered any info to access it, but it is the only one that is acting like this, very weird shiite going on here. Any advice or recommendations on what I should or should not do?

I won't be using it because there is no need for it, still I wish one of you more informed folks could give me advice on what to do.
 
I have reflashed 12 times tryinbg to duplicate yer problem I cant.. I would say try reflashing the rom see if it fixes it
 
aye videostream.apk was stripped this is debloated you can download the 3.0 ver WITH all bloat and just copy it over if you want .
 
I would honestly suggest everyone who likes the rom but misses features to download the 3.0 with bloat that way you can debloat yourselfs and pick what you like to keep ;)
 
How is everyone's battery life? Mine is iffy I get better on just stock rooted than I do 3.0 but I'm not sure what supercharger is or why I would need it? Can someone help explain that for me. Also will this new rom have the newer version of Google Now?
 
yes it will and I will re post the rom with bloat tonight and put it on the first thread for easy location. Im at work right now so ill re post it in about 4 hours.

16 hours and 24 minutes later, my battery's down to 22%, which really isn't too bad.

edit: in a nutshell, V6 Supercharger improves the multitasking

The XDA thread could probably explain it better than I ever could.
