Root [ROM] Stock B11 Deodexed & Unmodified

A different browser or a different mirror? I'm on boat browser now. I should use Chrome or something else? Just wanna clarify. Thanks
And now on my clock widget, it says I have 0mb left on sd card. Even though, in system settings, I have plenty. Ugh... hate when these things happen.

a different browser. boat specifically has been known to have problems downloading files from android file host. chrome should work fine.
 
NEW PROBLEM..... Won't let me save to sd card cuz it thinks there's no memory left on it now, after I tried to do a backup. Unreal....
Update; tried doing a backup again, after I cleared some space on sd card, and now I get...
Boot image, recovery image and system complete, BUT... after that is
ERROR while making backup image of /data
 
I got it to work, did it with a different sd card. Threw in original sd card afterwards, installed TB and recovered a bunch of backed up apps. Installed a few from the store also. TB wouldnt work if I chose always allow on superuser. Hadta change it to prompts. Took forever to recover apps. All in all, it worked. But now my wi-fi tether doesnt hook up without errors. Thinking about just wiping the card and redo it all. Any ideas?

Glad you got it working. There are a few threads already on wifi tether not working with solutions that worked for myself and others.

for the tb superuser problem you might of had to update the superuser app then it should work fine.
 
I erased sd card, formatted sd card, install prep, install b11,
"failed to open last_install: no such file or directory"
go back...
"Cant open /cache/recovery/log
Cant open /cache/recovery/log
Cant open /cache/recovery/last_log
Cant open /cache/recovery/last_log"
Reboot... tried updating super user, store wont connect. Blue line just keeps looking for connection. Theres almost NOTHING on sd card.
 
Format the sd card with PC? And the play store is taking FOREVER. Its been trying to update Google Chrome for 3 hours.....50% done. Oh, AND i can't get into connections optimizer. "process.com.android.phone has stopped"

Glad yours works cuz mine is in utter dismay....again. Took forever when the b09 junk came thru. Now i wanna do b11 and the play store is froze and tether doesnt work. Ugh...bad luck.:(

There must be something strange wrong with your install. I would start over again. Flash System Prep, flash the deodexed b11 rom, should be good to go.

If you are using the deodexed rom currently, connections optimizer has been removed. The menu entry is there, but the app is gone.

There are a few threads about wifi hotspot on b11. You should read them and try all the things.
 
I did, wiped everything, install, install. I tried rooting using junkies AIO , didnt work. Did a stock recovery with his tool, then did a cwm recovery, then install, install. The b11 worked just fine, was just having problems with play store and wi-fi. So I just chilled out on it for a bit, tried installing an app after I turned on all location settings, and BOOM...started working. No idea why but i dont care, lol. Just happy it worked. Now i just gotta do a TB backup run and a root backup. Shouldnt the root backup be saved as a zip file or how does that actually work? Cuz my previous backups are just in folders.
 
K, i found out why my backup wasnt showing up on accident. Made another backup and seen it was in cwm/backup folder. So, i transfered the backup, i made before originally doing the b11 flashable and deodexed, to that folder and tried to fire up that backup but it tells me the MD5 Mismatch. I looked in the folder and it doesn't have an md5 file in it. WTF?!?! Everything that can go wrong, i find it. I can't get this b11 to work properly, i can't restore a backup. Help me out guys, cuz right now...I'm lost. Oh, and now when i plug the phone into PC, it says it can't install the drivers. But theres no yellow marks in the device manager.
 
I suggest you stop trying to restore backups for now lol. Install the b11 rom of your choosing, use Nandroid Manger from the Play Store to restore what you need from your existing backup. Then make a new nandroid backup once it is all setup the way you like it. Then delete the problem backups.
 
K, I did that. Install prep, install deodexed one. Nandroid grabbed most user apps from non functioning backup. Worked excellent. Dressed it up, made backup of THAT. No problem. Still wifi issues. Installed newest wifi tether app (3.4 or 3.14??) whichever is newest, aaaaand i lost root in the process. Lol, why not. Downloaded your (superR) unmodified b11. See if that works. Do I need to wipe system and data and wipe cache before i flash that rom? Otherwise, is there ANY WAY to get back to b09? Or actually get this turkey to work properly?
 
lol. Since you are already on b11, installing b11 unmodified only requires a factory reset and flash. You can get back to b09 if you want. There is a link around here somewhere for partition updater stock or partition updater b07, can't remember what it's called anymore. Flash that then factory/data reset, then flash a bo9 rom.
 
How do i get root back tho? I still have cwm, just get denied access to TB and the obvious tether malfunctions, in which i still havent found a good solution.
