Root [ROM][STOCK][MS323] Stock Doedexed for LG L70

I'm pretty sure that I had deleted the LG keyboard and installed super keyboard from the play store on the set up I was running before I did the wipe, delete, flash zip for the Deodexed rom. Would not having the LG keyboard on my phone when I flashed the new rom be the cause of me not having any keyboard at all when it finally loaded?

I can't think of anything else that would make sense since no one else seems to be running into the same problem. Also once I did have the rom installed could prior settings from my previous set up cause fc errors on play store and eventually more services as I tried to find a way to load a keyboard. I want to go ahead and try to run this again but would try and get my phone as close to stock as possible and uninstall apps that were supposed to solve the inability to write to the sd card? I'd like to try and use the new approach that Voidci describes using links2sd, folder mount and Aparted.

I've tried other suggestions but still encounter the message that I don't have enough memory to move apps or even do a backup on them, and I'm showing more than 385 MB free on the internal ROM memory and over 1 GB on the internal media memory as well as over 14GB on my external sd card so why do I keep coming up short of room for basic things? It just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

If you can't figure it out, id suggest re flashing the firmware with the LG kdz tool or the .tot tool (kdz is easier)

Also have you backed up to /sdcard on accident? After I backup to /external_SD my phone will sometimes start to backup to the internal /sdcard somehow I must press the power key in my pocket(idk how)

Well I'm gonna give it another shot BiggiePhil. My last time flashing this rom I ended up with no keyboard to input anything and eventually had to do a complete reinstall using the LG flash tool with teh tot file and ms323 dll. After going over all I had done prior to flashing I remembered that I had deleted the LG keyboard and installed Super keyboard from the play store so when I flashed everything got reset except for there was no keyboard to install because I had deleted it. Anyway thats my hope for why I ended up without a working keyboard

So here goes nothing, will let you know if I have any success, if not it will take me at least till tomorrow to finally get everything back to working condition, I only hope that if I do need to do the reinstall that my hard drive on windows set up will not just completely freeze up and remain that way.

Just a quick note. I downloaded your custom LG G3 font. It titled CoconFontPack.zip

After I flashed it and rebooted I could not find any mention of the font pack and in my settings folder the roboto font was still available but nothing new or differant. Could my entire download from your post be at fault here? Let me know if you have any input regarding this.

Hey biggiephil, Diggin the ROM, Thank you for the good, hard work.
I don't see the Developer mode anymore. Before I do the magic to get it back, I wanna know if I should or not. Is it necessary with this ROM?

To get dev options go to settings then software information then click build number continuously

It replaces roboto, if you select Roboto after flashing it, it'll work, for me it does

Odd, I get my keyboard upon flashing my ROM, hope it works for you

I cant get this installed, i download it, i wipe system, boot, data, cache, dalvik, i install and i reboot, but it just stays at the first LG screen, so i go back into recover restore a backup, only wipe dadta and cache, install it but it doesnt install. Just boots back in to the current rom
I also download it twice butbstill nothig

Try downloading with a different browser or if you are downloading it on your phone, try to download it on your computer and transfer it to the device then flash it

that's very weird...seems to work for everyone else O.o, try what MikeHoncho suggested

Good point. I did it both ways and the computer/usb (installed zip to ROOT of SD card) worked for me. Dont forget to delete the other downloads of this .zip so you dont get them confused...it happens.

Yeah, The keyboard installed, I now know that it must be available for any installation to work unless the new rom has its own keyboard built in. Live and learn.

Checking out the new rom. All seems to be running nicely. No problems so far. Still have got to tweak the settings to improve battery life but thats another issue for a differant thread. Thanks for the hard work and for helping me out.

What should be showing as the kernal version. I'm showing kernal: Linux kernal version: 3.4.0+ Dalvik VM version: 1.6.0. I know when I loaded new roms in the past they would usually have a name that showed the dev's ownership or fingerprint

Did you give this rom any name or specific link to show its your handicraft that designed or built it?

Well, since you flashed his ROM, which includes the stock kernel, you have lost Chevan's kernel. You now have to reflash his kernel and set everything back to the correct settings

I built it lol...I would've included a custom build.prop with my name etc but it wasn't needed
