Damn PG, you beat me to it. I'm still getting an error on deodexing a couple of things in the framework folder.

I don't usually have time for irc, but if you have gtalk would you mind pming me your info? I'd appreciate some help lol. Even though you already deodexed it I'd like to finish deodexing myself, this will eat me alive til I figure out what the problem is lol.

Apps have .odex files which contain some data and optimizations. Deodexing means converting and putting that extra .odex file into the .apk file.

Basically correct, the odex's get loaded into dalvik and load alot faster than .dex's do. We deodex tho because trying to theme with odex's makes it a major pita if not impossible to do.

Could you explain why this is advantageous?

And how this is possible? Why aren't all apk's deodexed to begin with?

Now I understand. I will flash this on my wife's phone, since right now, the BP ROM aint working for her. I will wait for 1.3 to try again for her. Anyways, I have her on stock ZVA and rooted. If I flash this, will it cause a problem because the phone is already rooted or no?
