Is it supposed to say error status 7 after it finishes flashing the script ?

Nope. It should say install from sdcard complete.
What's the last thing it says before error 7?
Restore your backup, redownload the Rom, put it on your exsdcard..and proceed with the instructions in op

1. Download the file from here: 00test.zip

4. Change the permissions of the init.d folder and 00test into rwxrwxrwx.

6. If you see a file named Test.log in /data, you have init.d support.

Also..encountered a bug in gallery closing when I chose to edit an image. If you guys want..you can reinstall the stock Google gallery, but keep the 3d gallery since its needed for ics camera
 
Before it says error 7 its says doing some good stuff and then after it finishes it shows like a dead android

Ok tried init.d the way you said, but I can't get it to build the log file. No big thing for me, as I was just going to research init.d tonight. I am also having the force close issue with gallery when editing. Otherwise version 2 flashed over 1 seamlessly. Also if you still need v1 let me know and ill dropbox it.

Quickpic gallery is an awesome FREE gallery app that does not error when editing on this rom. It also has nice customization as to whsts shown and how you view it.
 
Does the ics camera still work? I like quick pic too..I hate the layout of Google gallery.
No worries on the version 1 upload.I'll re up after work. The test file worked for me.except I put it in system/etc/in it.d.
 
cool. im starting to not like apex launcher. its hard t ofind ways to improve this phone because icnt think of anything it really needs improving on yet. im 8+ hours on 39% battery without a charge all day..my 4g has been strong all night at work where my od phone just tanked. its pretty fast..idk..i think i broke it
 
I use Nova...uninstall everthing else. 'Nuff said.
Since you stripped and streamlined it.....and I removed excess system apps and bloat.....its pretty slick. Would be nice to have battery percentage mods tho. Like circle battery or something without having to flash a kitchen zip.
 
Oh and stock browser google account sync (bookmarks) would be epic. I miss onestep flash video watching. As in no flashify and secondary sources.

joker has a circle battery mod you might ask him for.
when i was on Gb i always liked holo launcher, and still do actually lol.
and as far as stock (metro) browser..ive never used it..and i didnt change anything about it so idk why you cant sync bookmarks. Chrome is the shit and it can sync all my mobile and desktop bookmarks.
 
I use chrome....but its lack of flash makes it deficient in my book. Wonder if it might be a system file I removed breaking bookmark sync. Can someone please check stock browser for Google account/bookmark sync for me please? As for the mods... just wondered if you were gonna bake them in. The system bar is the only place that i could think of that could use attention. If you were seeking mod ideas that is.That's why I pointed it out. :)
 
Thank you to boneface for the awesome ROM, it runs very smooth and battery life is so much better.

I did notice a freezeup in Google play music when the screen is locked whole music is playing. I waited about fifteen seconds and the screen unfrozen and I was able to unlock the screen.
Next time it happens I'll try to get a log file
Google Chrome bookmarks work OK here. I can see everything from my desktop here
 
The default. I am unable to reproduce it so I guess it might just be something else
I had a lot of apps. Phone still gives mee amazing battery life though.

I had to remove juice defender it was more hassle than it is worth.

Nope. I removed all metro apks immediately after root. Even before recovery! Lol. I was sweating let me tell you. But even then it still worked. I think I may need a full wipe and reflash to rebuild system processes I may have edited. However I am hesitant to do so without someone verifying theirs syncs with a stock install of this rom.

Huawei pushed it back indefinitely as I understand it. Due to the T-Mobile merger or some such nonsense. So we probably won't see it unless some awesome individual ports it for us.
