So, I mentioned that I restored my Nand back up. I'm using reppards CM7 ROM on mine and my wife's phone. We have MMS working just fine on it. It doesn't have the power off charge capability (if we power off while plugged in, it just reboots), but I don't have any other problems or issues with it. It's solid enough that I put it on my wife's phone (she doesn't want to bother with little nuisances like MMS not working or the settings not taking affect with out a reboot (that's another thing with bobz CM7 when I set things in the cyanogen settings, like notification bar tweeks such as the clock, I had to reboot in order for them to take affect)). The clock didn't show up after I reset the clock color to white and then unchecked the center clock option (I personally like it on the right side and not in the center). I had to reboot the phone to get it to show up.

Try to reflash it. make sure you wipe data, boot, cache, system, dalvik-cache, battery settings,
 
New release, read the changelog and read how to fix MMS.
Idk if this does fix MMS but it should, I don't have service to test with :(

I will download and try it this evening. Hopefully it will work for me. I'm happy that it worked for macjay.

Edit: I really would like for it to York, since you based it in part, on bobzhome's CM7 and his is the only one that has working wired headset.
 
mms works out of the boxing meaning that you could just flash it and send and receive mms or you still have to check the apn listed in the box?
 
The launcher won't let me remove some of the unneeded homescreens on my phone, it won't let me remove some transition effects that i don't want (speed reasons), and I would like the wallpaper that is in the screenshots and besides that everything is perfect. Although (i'm pretty sure this is for every ROM but) i had to do some fiddling with link2sd and s2e to get apps to download from the market again. And I will test MMS tommorow and get back with you on that.
 
I flashed it, and it worked great for a few days. but today I got random reboots from a phone i've never gotten one from in over 9 months.
 
It may be one of the tweaks in the build.prop, they caused some issues with wifi in another ROM, I'm not able to fix this at the moment but I will soon
