Root ROM toolbox ?

I know that ROM Manager will completely **** my phone but what about ROM Toolbox? I heard it has ROM Manager in it but if I don't use it will I be okay?
 
If you read the sticky about Rom Manager, you'll see that he talks about how it has the same features so probably has the same effect.

What is everyone's deal with Rom Manager? I have never found it more convenient than just making a backup in CWM or downloading a new rom from the browser. -.-
 
Yes, I use it. It is very useful :) I use it mostly for the CPU under/overclock part, but I also use the build.prop editor and the 3G icon changer ( Pro only ;) ) and other things... you should try it! Keep in mind that it takes up about 13MB of space, but most of that is the data. The app itself is about 5MB... But again, try it, I LOVE it :D

ROM Manager will only hurt your phone if CWM isnt Officially supported for your device. The Esteem is supported and it works just fine. ;)

Now I am a avid ROM Toolbox user too and have nothing but good to say about it. I do wish jrummy would add the overclock widget from android overclock since thats what the overclock portion is is from anyhow. lol

Actually use and you will see. When dl'ing available ROMs (My ROM's are available thru RM ;)) you can see comments n ranking on them. If your device has official CM nightlies, those can be found thru RM along with the supported gapps too.

ROM Manager gets a bad rep from complete dumba55es flashing shyt not meant for their device and then posting all over blaming RM for their stupidity. ;)
 
If only there was an app with the options of rom toolbox and the download ability of rom manager to get all the admire roms......hhmmmm......


Edit..ABC actually added a few roms to rom manager yesterday for the optimus m :) we're moving up :)

That just gave me a idea, can you say CyJellianMod 10 for the nexus s 4g. We just got a cm10 over there and I have an idea :-)
