Root [ROM]~* UB-A75-1 For A75 ! *~

Ur device is un-brick-able by flashing process ... this is really strange
We must diagnose why such thing happened :) ., this will not only help others but also increase some knowledge abt the same :p
Btw, those ppl use the same thing ..... to recover any A75 ...

Btw ,do not tell those ppl u ever tried to flash or something similar :p

Hi Ninad... got the phone back from the service center... they said that it had some hardware problem and were not specific when i asked what exactly was the issue. Flashed it again and it's working great now... thank you guys for trying to help me out.... much appreciated
 
Many many thanks for the ROM buddy. Its a very nice ROM.
Changes i have observed after flashing:
1. The battery life has amazingly improved.
2. The phone interface has become very responsive.
3. The RAM now remains around 45-50MB free.
4. The signal strength has increased. Now phone operates better in low signal areas.
5. Even the touch screen has become more responsive.
6. one problem i was facing was that the phone used to hang up during the calls. i mean occassionaly the display does not come after the call has ended. this problem has also resolved after flashing.
Have not checked the Wi-Fi and other connection options. But would certainly check them after some time.

BTW file explorer is not included in the ROM. Hence it was very toublesome for me access my files and data of SD card. Also since i normally do not visit android market but install the applications by downloading to PC and transferring to SD so it becomes very difficult to access them without file explorer.
For those who have such trouble here is an easy method to install file explorer:
1. Download the file explorer of your choice. (andexplorer.apk in my case)
2. Copy the apk file to the root of your SD card. (copy the apk directly on card not in any folder)
3. Open the default internet browser and type the following in the URL space field:
"file:///mnt/sdcard/andexplorer.apk" (without quotes) (replace the name of apk in
case you are installing some different explorer)
4. The package manager would start and follow the instructions to install the apk.

Thats it.

tested working WIFI as well
 
Hi i am new to this forum and new to flashing ROMs as well. u guys use a high level language which goes above my head. considering me as a layman, can someone give step by step instructions on how to flas ROm on mmx A75. i head this phone doesnt run skype video calls and flash player. Can this be solved on flashing ROM?

i hv installed super user n busy box....
but busy box is recognising that my mobile is not rooted.:(
how to install the custom rom for mmx a75?
i hav read that it is same as rooting.....
in ub rom 1 v2.7 ....it is showing system.img file....
in sp flashing tool.....for loading scatter file,it is showing nothing in ub-rom-1-v2.7.............:confused:
pls help me to install the rom to my device..

You need to place this system.img file in the micromax a75 new version folder !
then Flash !!
 
Hi Ninad Thanks for you ROM. Are u updating it? I have one query how can we mount the ext2 partition. I partitioned sd card by CWM recovery but link2sd is not mounting it..
Can u help me please?

Somehow that is the case with me every time I use Busybox Installer by Jrummy...
Use Busybox app by Stericson, it will solve ur problem.it will show busybox null installed 1st,click install n it will do the rest successfully, after that Busybox Installer app by Jrummy will also show busybox installed.

Oops, sorry I misunderstood, can't delete the post so apologize.

Keep Scatter file and system.img in same folder.it will be shown as ANDROID in first column.
If it doesn't show up then click on ANDROID, a dialogue will open from where u can select system.img wherever u have saved it.
 
i am a newbe i rooted my phone long back using sp flash...i downloaded your rom, got the system image.. do i have to only select this file in sp flash? if not plz give me detailed instructions on how to use sp flash and flash this rom..thanks in advance :) edit- i see that that its already mentioned..yet clean how to on flashing this rom would b great

Yes u just need to select system img i mean the UB-A75-1 and flash it via sp flash tool and haan dont try the UB-A75-2 as its overclock and if not used cautiously then while trying something else u may brick ur phone.
 
Some suggestions for this ROM, if you implement these changes it will be perfect.

-Make app drawer navigation horizontal instead of vertical

-3 launcher icons should show call, app drawer and messaging instead of call, app drawer, and browser.

-Home screen modification :

In the stock ROM, double pressing the Home softkey home screen modification options like set homescreen and add/delete screens. It was a great function

-Please add option so that long pressing home key shows clear recent applications button like Samsung Galaxy Pocket

-Also small error, when call comes, there is red background behind accept and green behind reject.
