I thought about trying this out, but when I saw it nobody had tried it successfully. And I wasn't 100% sure of the installation process. Though I didn't read it fully.

yeah i just finished reading the thread. a few peeps have been able to get it to boot up and running. i'm still gonna give it a go and see if i can be successful. it would be very cool if i can......it looks really cool.

anyone able to get this to work? i flashed according to instructions and yet to have see a screen its been well over ten minutes. Everything said it was successful so not sure whats going on here.

I tried the Ubuntu Touch. Everything installed good and the phone booted up into the OS. The whole concept behind Ubuntu Touch is amazing. I love the design, concepts, and just the whole system in itself. The problem with it is it's just a preview and most of the functions(Wifi, camera, calculator, etc.) do not work on the phone. On the start up it froze for about 5 seconds then everything was quick after that.

Overall I'm pumped for it to be released. I hope its compatible with the EVO 4G LTE when its finally released. :/
